They had the reggae music going on beyond 10p. We had a room in the back and we did not even hear it. Later we had the front apartman and our friend in the front room had to use her noise canceling headphones to sleep.

The location is best in Samara - right on the beach and away from the center.

They do not offer parking. Parking is on the street, and is first come. The driveway road is narrow and bumpy. Small details, like the toilet paper holder was broken in our bathroom and the latch on the door was not great either. No outlet for a hair dryer in the bathroom and no outlet located close to a mirror. I had to dry my hair in the hallway stretching the cord across to see in the mirror. No mirrors in either bedroom.

We were fortunate enough to book room 12, which was the only room with a balcony and view of the ocean. We would not have enjoyed any other room, as no others had a view. The staff was outstanding, friendly and professional. The breakfast included with the room was excellent!! The restaurant seating and bar service right on the beach was a big plus. Happy hour and drinks in general were great. The colony of dogs roaming the beach was fun to experience, especially the call of the wild that the alpha dog made in the morning, to gather his pals. Overall, a great experience for us.

An amazing hotel with the best location on the beach front, great staff, food and vibe. A short walk to the centre of Samara. If it is available, just book it! You wouldn’t regret it.

The rooms are not necessarily fancy, but they are not bad either. The hotel is a little tricky to find and the parking is 'street parking'. But these are small trade offs for a truly great place.

This place is amazing! The location is unbeatable. The amenities are nothing fancy, but they get the job done and it's totally worth it for the price. The rooms have hot water and are very clean. Being able to walk out directly on to the beach is very cool. And the food and restaurant staff are both great! Can't wait to go back.

The restaurant and bar can be pretty loud until around 1030 or 11pm. NOT A COMPLAINT. It didn't bother my wife or I at all but just just a warning to others that might go to bed early. Again. This place was perfect in every way. BOOK IT.

We loved absolutely everything about this place. The beach was 30 feet from our front door (2bedroom apmt) and the hotel/restaurant staff were so nice and made the stay just perfect. The free breakfast was amazing and the restaurant's food for lunch and dinner was some of the best we've had in Costa Rica 😊 Samara Beach and especially Bahia will truly always have a special place in our hearts. We will absolutely be back and will stay at Bahia every time. It was truly perfect. Truly Pura Vida.

The room was booked for two persons and two beds - the second bed pull-out couch was not set-up and no bedding. We were too exhausted to make the situation perfect. Definitely not as the picture was presented.

The property, accommodations and the people were excellent. Also appreciated the transportation arrangements from the Liberia Airport to the Bahia. We were grateful to have a meal and drinks after a very long day of travel. Will be back some day! Thank You!

If you would like to forget about everyday life close to the beach, listening to the sound of the waves, then Bahia Beachfront is the perfect place to stay. The owners together with one of the most caring team of staff that we have ever seen created a unique atmosphere where you will feel both on vacation and at home at the same time. The food is generally amazing! We loved the rich and tasty breakfast and the lovely staff was always accomodating my husband's vegan lifestyle. Waking up in front of the sea every morning was one of the most amazing experiences. The both vibrating and relaxing town of Sámara is just a 5-10 minutes walk away at the beach, where you can play beach volleyball, go surfing, have a nice smoothie or delicious meal. At night you can also enjoy the beautiful terrace and tasty drinks and food at the hotel's restaurant. We were sad to leave this truly unique pearl at the beach and will surely be back in the future!
