It’s outside of the main stop so it’s quiet at night but only a 8 minute bike ride to town and easier to get to Punta Uva which was nice

It was a very nice location. Our room had a balcony towards the djungle. We heard the howler monkeys, and had hummingbirds passing by as well as parrots and tucans flying over the hotel area. We also got some really good and valuable help from the receptionist in finding interesting activities. Only about 10 minutes walk from the hotel, there is a beatiful beach, and a couple of nice resaurants as well.

The unpaved road getting there.

It was quiet and amongst the trees. The management allowed my 84 year old husband and I to park right near our room. They opened up a gate for us to be able to do that.

The hotel is in need of an update as it looks a little tired.

Minerva on reception was excellent and very friendly and helpful. The swimming pool is heated with a lovely view of the forest.

Cleaning in the common area was insufficient. The monkeys that had their nightly fun, had made two streaks of excrement by the pool, no one did anything to remove them. The cat caught a mouse in the afternoon and left the mousehead by the pool, it was still there the next noon, pretty nasty I would say. Breakfast had a lot to wish for... I actually liked the place a lot, so this was a bitter pill😔

A little way out of the town but we hired bikes, it is an easy ride ~ 15 minutes. Taxi is ~$10. There’s a good selection of restaurants 5-10 minutes walk.

Lovely property surrounded by lush rainforest. The room has a balcony looking out into the forest. Nice pool area and breakfast. Very helpful and friendly staff. Beds and comfortable.

- There was a cockroach in the room and one in the clean breakfast plates - Bedsheets and pillow cases had stains - No fridge or coffee maker in the room - The ceiling fan was not working just decorative

Once the hotel gets crowded you can hear the neighbours but this you find almost anywhere unfortunately. For me pillows were a little too strong/big but it depends on the person's preferences.

Andrea is such a nice owner and a great person. He answered any question and gave the recommendations needed. Thank you so much for your guidance & support! The place is a little oasis ca. 2 km from Playa Cocles. A moto or a bike is recommended to go to other beaches. Restaurants are ca. 20 min in walking distances. The place was clean and calm. To me it was very important to don't hear any cars and this is what I found there, thank you! I will come back for sure! Breakfast and pool-area was lovely! You feel you live in a wonderful jungle surrounded by animal voices ❤️. The balcons of the rooms are lovely too!! Thank you for all!

Only complain I have is that there was no hot water in the shower and food was not good.

Breakfast could be improved a little. Scrambled eggs and Gallo Pinto needed a little seasoning and juice tasted a bit artificial. Coffee was very good though.

Excellent service and super friendly staff. Beds very comfortable, room and bathroom super clean. Jungle behind the house with wildlife to spot. Very quiet (there is only birds/howlers who might wake you up. kids loved the table pool and swimming pool.
