Very nice kitchen, rooms, great WIFI. Breakfast in the morning was tasty pinto beans, rice, eggs and plantains. Enjoyed my stay, got 2 great roomates but my 3rd roomate unfortunately would go to bed when I woke up at 5am. I really enjoyed the pool, very clean and relaxing.

The breakfast is nice but not very filling. A slice of bread or banana might have been a nice extra touch. I felt like they could have been more informative with information about things to do

Location is a bit further removed from the main area of restaurants. This could essentially be considered a good thing if you want more quiet.

In the garden/lounge area, as lovely as the music was, sometimes it was a bit loud.

The hotel is located in a quiet street, away from the seediness and noise. Sleeping with the window open, all I could hear was crickets, birds chirping and waves lapping. It takes about 15 minutes to walk to the big supermarket where you can get pretty much everything. It was great to have breakfast in tge garden. The lovely hostess cooked rice with beans, fried egg and plantains + plus tea or coffee as self-service. There's a big and very clean fridge that you use to keep your food. The pool is small, but clean and refreshing. And the beach is really close - about 5 minutes on foot. Really convenient!

Pool was meant to close at 10 but was shut down 20 mins early. The fan in the room attached to the ceiling couldn’t be adjusted (anything less than the maximum turned it off), and due to having the bed that wasn’t a bunk with its own fan, it was pretty powerful and cold at times

Super cool style on the rooms, kind of bohoemia/hippie but modern and good still. Garden is great with basilisks, birds ad lizards. Short walk to the beach, has a nice pool and hammocks. Good breakfast, good coffee, good comfort. Nearby chill bar.

I loved my stay here, I felt very comfortable, it’s a safe and quiet area, perfect for those who have a car and want rest. The hostel is close to ‘El Miro’ (10mins walk to the entrance of the hike). The kitchen its very nice for those who likes cooking, they have plenty of space in the kitchen area. The pool is great after a long day by the beach. The breakfast they include it’s delicious and very filling.

Not on the host but Costa Rica goes to bed early. The sun is down by 6 pm and quiet hours are observed shortly after through the night. A few times the pool and facilities would shut down early if no one was using them. This could be a bother on occasion if we didn't arrive back at the room until after things had been shut down at 7pm vs the 10pm time posted.

The breakfast was a Costa Rican typical fare. The host served the same breakfast daily. This was fine with myself and friends as we were able to cook and add things like sausage to our plates if desired ~

The shared area was brand new with new pool and nice kitchen area. Not in the centre but close to the beach. Parking inside available.

Delicious breakfast, right by the beach, super clean and beautiful, good value for money and the owners are soooo sweet. I loved every moment at this place! Would stay again.
