I forgot my laptop charger in the room, when asking staff a few hours after departure they said they were unable to find this. Very baffling - if you forget something don't count on getting it back.

I had a bad experience with the airport shuttle that the hotel recommended. They send out an automated what's app recommending 'Sameul' for taxi service to and from airport. I was left stranded at 5am on the way to the airport when the driver couldn't take card. I had already told the company I had no cash. It was really unfair to the driver who was not at fault and upon ringing his boss he was very rude to both me and his driver. Just get Uber!! Even if you do have cash to pay I would avoid out of principle. Other than that, the room was a small bit hot and the extra fan provided was loud. Ok for one night.

Perfect stay for, for example, spending last few hours in Costa Rica before heading to the airport. Big rooms, beautiful swimming pool area, and beautiful surrounding garden. Definitely recommend for a one-night stay.

Very basic, but that is to be expected for the price

Small rooms, very basic, but good enough for a one night stay when coming from/going to the airport. The entrance and inside court are nice. Breakfast was very basic (some pineapple and toast)

Flat pillows. Our sink was tilted so we tried to keep something on the edge, it felt down.

The location is very good if you need to stay near the airport. Friendly staff and good wifi. Breakfast was simple but included fresh fruits which was a bonus.

You can hear the traffic to the rooms. The pillows were either flat or clumpy. I would still stay again.

Only 15 minutes drive to the airport. There are restaurants and minimarkets nearby. Friendly personnel. Complimentary breakfast is a nice plus. It was simple but included fresh fruits that made me very happy!

The owner was not so friendly, but Emilio gave us all the informations that we needed. The breakfast is poor.

There isn't an air conditioner, but it's not hot, so fine. Two people in a room for four, so the size was very comfortable for us. The quality of the bed linen are not good, but to spend one or two days was OK.

You can hear everything from the next room. The bed is uncomfortable. There is a smell of stale cigarettes in the room.

It is a simple 3 star reflected in the cost.

It has the basic facilities but, in addition, you have fruit, cereal and coffee for breakfast in the garden terrace. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. It is well situated for all shops.

There were two cockroaches in our first room. The lady kindly gave us a new even bigger room, there were no animals.

Very kind and understanding staff. They served us freshly made breakfast (eggs and fruits) at the time we asked for (breakfast is usually served between 7 am and 9 am but we still got breakfast at 11 am). Our whole laundry was washed and dried for 5000 colones. Be careful, taxi drivers will charge you way too much. 1000-2000 colones is a fair price from the airport to the hotel, not more!

Wifi was really really bad, there were no shelves, table or other storage for personal belongings available (tiny room), no sound proof (you could feel that the hotel doorbell was in our room) and the breakfast was poor

Everything was nice at the hotel, arrived late and the manager was at the front desk to help us out and let us in. Very good guy, place was clean and quiet and perfect. No issues.

Per other's comments, the room did not have the best airflow and the room was a bit stuffy. My room faced a rising sun and the thin curtain did little to prevent me from being waken at sunrise.

A good value stay close to the airport in the central part of Alajuela. Staff was very nice and extremely helpful. Continental breakfast was fine. Found the hostel to be very clean. Excellent wifi and they brought a chair and desk to my room so I could work remotely.
