Elisa and the staff were all incredible and very friendly. The place was quiet and vey well kept. Breakfast (which was included) was always spot on! Probably the best avocado toast we’ve ever had! Although the place was in the centre (can walk anywhere in 2-3 minutes) it was on a quiet side road so it was not busy and we were able to relax and not feel like we were in the middle of all the caos.

Nothing - it was great!

Great location - short walk to beach and town. Not in a noisy area. Small pool but big enough to swim some laps. Elisa makes delicious made-to- order breakfasts and the coffee is delicious , too. The room was comfortable with plenty of storage space to get out of the suitcase. The common space is great for breakfast and just chilling.

Fantastic staff with lots of great recommendations and easy check-in. Very convenient, newer accommodation with 5 minute walk to beach. Many great restaurants and shopping nearby. Perfect spot for exploring the many nearby beaches/coves if you have a car.

I absolutely loved my stay at Elixir Hotel! 🌟 This is not your typical touristy resort; it's a unique gem. Run by the owner, who prepares made to order breakfast from a few options she makes available daily. The rooms are cleaned daily, and Eliza even maintains the pool herself. Waking up to nature's sounds and stunning sunrises was magical. Plus, it's just a 5-minute walk from Tamarindo's city center, perfect for nightlife enthusiasts. Countless beachfront restaurants, food courts, and vibrant street markets await! 🌅🏝️🍽️ Most importantly I felt comfortable and safe my entire stay & as a solo traveler that’s number one for me. I had to rush out to catch my transportation that showed up early!!! I was rushing so bad but Elize still managed to make me breakfast to take on the road with me!! Y’all that AVOCADO TOAST!!!!! 🔥😍👌🏾

The arrival process was easy and the owner and staff were kind and helpful. The breakfast was consistent and tasty and where the property is located supported us in relaxing. We had great access to the local amenities/restaurants and the beach, while feeling removed enough that the hotel was quiet. Thanks to Lisa and staff for a wonderful stay and highly recommend.

I can’t say enough good things about this wonderful hotel. The room was sparkling clean, the super awesome lady who checked us in and made our delicious breakfast was so incredibly nice she made us feel like family. The hotel is a GEM! If you stay in Tamarindo you should stay here

Nothing worth mentioning.

Everything was absolutely amazing! Elisa is a great host, she gave me a lot of valuable information. It was so nice that she makes breakfast for each guest herself. It gives you a feeling that you’re not in a hotel, but just visiting your friend. Her avocado toast has already become a legend!😍 The furniture in the room is quite new, one has everything one needs for a comfortable stay. There’s no kettle in the room itself, but one can easily get some hot water (and cold) water 24/7 on the ground floor. A big supermarket is pretty close to the hotel, and there are a lot of restaurants and food courts in the area. Tamarindo beach is 7-10 minutes walk, which was absolutely okay for me.

I agree with other reviewers on the bed and pillows not being as comfortable. Same with the couches in the suite. This was not a big deal for us as were out most of the day, we still really enjoyed our stay.

The property is set up well and is walking distance to everything in Tamarindo. The pool is beautiful, AC in our suite was great (get the suite if I’m your budget the extra space is worth it). Right across the street and down the street that you can go to. Supermarket and banks also close by. Elisa is also such and sweet and knowledgeable host - she was on top of everything at the property.

Honestly, nothing. I had a very pleasant stay.

This place is a gem. The property is great and the host is wonderful. She was so helpful, kind and attentive during the entire stay, and The rate was very competitive. The rooms are designed very nice and and super clean. It is a quiet and secure property but is also close to all the places to go in Tamarindo. The cooked to order breakfast was a fantastic touch and very delicious.

Great location. Small number of rooms. Off the main roads. Quiet. Pool is fantastic. Breakfast had 4 options and were filling and nutritious. Was great to be able to use our beach towels for the day after we checked out in the morning. Recommend

Luca was a wonderful concierge/ host. full of great selections. Place was small, sweet hotel (6-8 rooms) Nicely appointed. Super comfortable bed, nice shower, great A/C. Nice pool right in Court yard. Easy walk to playa, restaurants, shopping. Definitely mark this place a go
