The landscape was beautiful! The pool is big and clean. Feels far from Jaco but it's very convenient and only a few minute easy drive. The yoga studio was a nice surprise. We had a great stay.

Bugs in the room but you're in the jungle so it's normal and should be expected.

Brilliant pool, incredible grounds, feels like you're really in the jungle. Saw macaws flying over the pool several times which was magic. Room was nice and very large. Loved the sack bats that stayed in the verandah roof, so cute (outside, not in the room but could see them from the window). Choice between continental and Tipico breakfast - really delicious. Friendly staff.

We were last year, we enjoyed the restaurant and bar, and the pool. The grounds are beautiful. The monkeys visited and Toucans. But this year the bar was closed for one of our nights. So that was disappointing for us. But other then that it is a very nice hotel

I wish it could have been on the beach, but then it wouldn’t be in a tropical garden.

This hotel is tucked away in a lush tropical setting that makes it easy to forget the outside world. The rooms are spacious, clean, and well appointed. The pool is huge and has lots of poolside seating in lounges or at tables. The staff is exceptional in their friendliness and service. We have stayed in 10 different places in our 30-day vacation in Costa Rica, some fancier and some plainer, and Doce Lunas has been the most enjoyable.

The hugh bathtub needs 2 grab bars.

Being a little out of downtown was not a problem as Uber is under $3. The gorgeous grounds & pool were a welcome haven after being in the busy tourist strip. The open-air restaurant was delicious and very reasonable. Staff friendly & helpful. Big room with hugh bathroom. The double sink had plenty of space for electronics and cosmetics.

The hotel is a few km outside of town - this was fine for us because we had a car. Not much was happening around the area.

Our room was very spacious and comfortable - with a patio outside, an office like desk in a side-niche, a large bathroom - all very clean. Air-conditioning was excellent. Facilities were nice (although we did not use most of them). Breakfast was very good with a nice selection of foods.

The beds were quite a bit firmer than typical hotel beds but we still slept well. There were not many channels (7 on ours) on the TV and it was not easy to use. No option to change to English audio either. But there are lots of other things to do in Costa Rica other than watch TV!.

We had a very large room with a nice view of the beautiful pool art and jungle and the bathroom had a tub and double sinks, much less common for hotels in CR. The AC worked well. The property is deep and sits you well away from the noise of Jaco or the highway and it feels like you are in a jungle lodge. The included breakfast was tasty and the staff we encountered were very friendly.

The property was perfect. The only thing that would have been a bit better was if the mattresses were a bit softer.

I loved the pool, and the tranquil gardens. It was also down a quiet residential street.

It is a little far from Jaco (30 min walk to town center) if that is your destination. On the other hand this means that it is quiet.

Amazing grounds and outstanding breakfast. The staff went above and beyond when we left an item in the hotel.
