We rented bikes, 10 dollars, and went to Manzanillo. However bikes were off poor quality. Tire was pretty flat and chain got lose halfway our ride. We slept there for two nights. Cleaning was done on the second day; cleaning ladies left door open during cleaning and insects got in. Not a big problem. Unnecessary to clean complete apartment every day if stay is only for 2 nights.

The bungalow was modern with a large bed and good working AC. Very comfortable, good beds. Parking available on the property. Howler monkeys and agoutis can be seen in the garden.

The Bungalow was well appointed, very modern, light and airy. Well equipped kitchen with microwave and fridge. The spacious badthroom was very nice. It was calming being away from the hustle and bustle of Puerto Viejo.

Best place ever.exactly what we wanted. Great place Great gardens close to beach. Have already reserved for next gear highly reccommend. The 535 am howler monkey wake up is something else. Walkable safe.

This might have been my own misunderstanding, but there was no kitchen in the bungalow - just a fridge and coffee machine. We used the shared kitchen though which was lovely.

The location of Jaguar Inn was perfect for us. A two minute walk to amazing beaches, near a gorgeous restaurant and slightly outside of the noisy town centre. We rented bikes for $5 a day and enjoyed cycling around. The bungalow was spacious and the shared kitchen was well stocked.

Good location quite close to Cocles beach and restaurants and next door to the Jaguar rescue centre. We stayed in a pleasant bungalow with kitchen facilities which is on the site of the hostel. The bungalow is comfortable and clean.

There wasn't much not to like in the Bungalow. The howler monkeys were a bit noisy, but that added to the experience.

The location. Being so close to nature and the beach was ideal. We arrived by car in the dark and were met by a lovely worker who escorted us through the gate and to the bungalow. He even guided us back to the centre after we got lost finding our way back after being out for a meal. Seeing the monkeys in the wild swinging through the trees in the morning was fantastic. The garden grounds were really well maintained. The poison dart frogs certainly liked them. There was loads of space on the nearby beautiful narrow sandy beaches to feel alone. The bungalow was well equipped with everything needed for a mix of self catering and going out for meals. The ceiling fan was surprisingly efficient at keeping us cool indoors. Comfy bed too!

This place is perfect for relax and enjoy all the beautiful beaches nearby. We did almost everything by foot, bike and also there’s a bus stop very close to take you to the Cahuita National Park. The kitchen was fully equipped and there’s free water in the comum area. Highly recommended!

There were no staff members available. No restaurant/bar on premises and water pressure wasn’t very good.

The accommodations were pretty and right next to an animal sanctuary. Bed was comfortable

Bathroom not completely encased (walls do not run all the up). Noise, etc... Upper part of the room with no curtains (has windows) so you wake up early morning with the light of the sun.

The announcement do not indicate that this two bungalows are part of the Jaguar Inn Hostel. So I feel cheated, since I was not looking for accommodation in a hostel. Communication with the place was terrible. I was never contacted in advance to provide a clear location of the place. when I managed to understand that it was inside/part of the hostel. I did not find any reception area or any manager to help me with my check-in. I had to search throughout the property for someone from the staff to help me. This one just showed me my room and charged me for the accommodation. Likewise, there was no one with whom to perform or notify the check out. The place is not exactly what is shown in the photographs. The pictures of the place show angles of the room that make you believe that the place is finer than it really is. the room is not completely closed it has mosquito grilles on the top of the walls. It only has one fan that does not generate enough air for the entire room and is not even well centered to provide air to the beds. There are slits on the windows and no mosquito nets, so mosquitoes easily enter the room. really what I found is not what is promoted

Location is good, the cocles beach is very close walking, however is one of the worst areas to access the beach The place if very quiet and animals sound is very strong in the early hour of the morning

As points to improve, there isn’t a front desk and therefore we arrived and had help of one of the guests to find someone to find our room.
