We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

It felt safe, clean, pretty, and well kept. Even though the surrounding streets seemed unsafe, we still felt comfortable being at the Javy Hotel. It was like a safe haven. The breakfast was a nice addition.

United StatesYou do hear the motorcycles zipping up and down the street, but didn’t bother us too much as we wear ear plugs to sleep. Noise somewhat starts quieting down around midnight or so.
We arrived late evening at LIB and needed a place to layover for the night. This was a great option as it has secure parking. The breakfast that is included is very good. Staff is very friendly and can provide tips on where to eat and activities around the area. Rooms are big and comfortable with all amenities. Walking distance to market and downtown too. Great option if you need to stay in Liberia area.
