Parking has always been very tight for my big truck. The parking was blocked when we needed to leave in the morning. It was quite a mess with another large truck parked blocking the entrance. It took quite a while to sort it out. It should have been better monitored and supervised by the Hotel rather than by the clients. If you have a smaller car it's little problem. We also had a bad door knob and lock on the bathroom door. We closed the door and it locked behind us and took quite a time to get it opened again. It seems general small repairs needed to be done. Frayed towels needed to be upgraded as well. It is an economy hotel, but has been better in the past.

We have stayed at Hotel Javy many times in the past. The front desk staff is always helpful and friendly. We requested a favorite room and that was granted, no problem. It's very quiet and clean and a short cab ride to downtown sites and restaurants.

They didn't have washcloths, but while that is standard issue in American hotels, it apparently isn't in Costa Rican hotels. No problem. I bought one at a grocery store.

The hotel is lovely, clean, and has all you need for a relaxing stay. The courtyard has secure parking, and the lush flora adds so much. The breakfast girl was patient with our limited Spanish language skills. The breakfast is Costa Rican typical breakfast, which we greatly enjoyed! The cost is very reasonable, especially for the value.

The staff was the best hotel staff I have ever seen. I stay in hotels a lot for work and the staff at hotel Javy is the kindest and most helpful people I have met. The breakfast was really good. The beds and room are super clean too!

Nothing. It was quiet and there were sodas within a walkable distance for dinner when I was jet-lag ed and didn’t want to go into town

It was clean and safe and the staff were really nice and helpful too. They helped me sort my onward travel plans by getting me the bud timetable and arranging the taxi so I’d be at the bus station in plenty of time. Also breakfast was good

We had 5 beds in our room? There were just 2 of us. The beds were slopping into the middle and uncomfortable which is not ideal in a hot county!!

Easy check in. Really lovely feel to the place. Easy to find and lots of parking!! Everything explained at check in. The breakfast was absolutely delicious!

Parking could be better. But I realize that location limits are there. Felt great about their attention to parking to maximize what was there. Overnight security was top notch.:)

People were great and very helpful. Worked at their English.
