It could have been a little cleaner on the cobwebs and dust. I wish the toilet was upstairs as I didn’t like going downstairs in the dark!

The privacy, the way it was built into the flora and fauna, the facilities were excellent value

Our private terrace/decking could have a light porch roof sheltering it from the rain and the sitting/chair options could be more comfortable.

Extremely helpful staff. Thank you very much guys. Beautifully set in the jungle. Really special open air yoga and relaxation space. An excellent choice of various breakfast options. Our tent was spacious and comfortable with complete privacy.

Not that we didn't like it - but we could really use a hair dryer.

Extraordinary place. Glamping tents fully equipped with everything you need. Amazing outside area with a view to the beautiful jungle. Tent and the outdoor area allows a lot of privacy. Whole Manolas area is beautiful and the garden is well maintained and has some amazing plants. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good and served in an outdoor area. Highly recommended.

Wi-fi was slow, but we were basically out in the middle of the jungle! Just glad we had wifi!!!

The area is beautiful and the people (Mack, Liz,Martin) were wonderful. The villas are on the side of a mountain and we could see and hear the two rivers. We saw all kinds of birds, butterflies, agoutis and coatis. The pool was great and everything is nicely kept up. If you want to be surrounded by nature, in a quiet tranquil setting, this is the place!

The flying bugs at night :-) as you need to go up to the sleeping rooms from the downstairs section of the kitchen and bathroom/shower you use external stairs.

Manoas at Uvita was our last destination at Costa Rica after we went to a few locations and stays, so having our own Villa to chill at Uvita was perfect. The kitchen had everything we needed so we were able to prepare nice big breakfasts leisurely each morning before heading to the beach or other activities. Coming back to the villa at the afternoon we relaxed at the pool and finished the day in the Jacuzzi which was located at our garden space. We had nice laid-back chairs to relax in as we took in the lovely, maintained surroundings. Staff was very nice and helpful in answering our questions and helping to book our snorkeling/diving day. You also have a big smart TV, to finish the day with if you like. Please note you need a 4*4 car to arrive at the place.

It would be nice if the restaurant was serving dinner meals. However, with the full support of staff, we were able to order food from restaurants in Uvita that was delivered at our door. (The kids loved the experience of eating at the tent).

Everything. Beautiful surroundings, in close touch withe nature. Very comfortable. Excellent breakfast with plus of an amazing view.

it is a bit inconvenient that the toilet can only be accessed from the bedroom via an outside staircase.

Simply beautiful accommodation in the middle of the rainforest. Although the hotel was partly fully booked, we felt like we were alone there, it is very spacious and private. The nearby river is great for cooling off, as is the shared pool. a highlight is of course the jacuzzi with a view of the jungle. Toucans feel quite comfortable there too, we have seen them several times from the terrace and from the restaurant. the staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating, we recommend this property to anyone in the area looking for a hidden jem.

Location is great, definitely worth staying there. Try to avoid diners served locally. They charge 20 USD for a meal that is not worth it. For less money you will get better quality down in the town.

Prices for the food: Yes, quality was great, but the price was several times higher than in other restaurants. When we ordered dinner no price was mentioned. I would appreciate more transparency.

The nature / jungle is very beautiful. It is quiet, pure nature. The sounds of the animals / birds is great at night. The luxury tents are very spacious and of good quality. They are sealed well so that no jungle animals can enter. Nice views from the pool. Beautiful river can be reached by a short walk. The restaurant is excellent, highly above expectation.

The tent is located on the rainforest. Very unique experience. The location is very well maintained. Beautiful view from your deck. You can just hang around the property, swim in the pool, chill at the big tree lounge, walk to the river. Relaxing, energizing, you just reunit with the nature.

Nothing - we loved our stay!

This place is stunning! We stayed here two nights and we absolutely loved it. The tent was fabulous and the views from our balcony were gorgeous. We would leave the blinds rolled up and allow ourselves to be woken by the rising sun and the sounds of the forest coming to life - the perfect way to start any day. You can also wander down to the river for a dip should you so choose (we did and it was so peaceful). The staff were excellent; extremely helpful and giving us suggestions for where we could venture to in our hire car (we opted to visit the nauyaca waterfalls and loved it - minus some of the roads you have to navigate to get there!). We chose to eat at the restaurant one night and the food was great (ships in a jalapeno sauce - t'was delicious!). It is worth mentioning that a hire car, specifically one with 4-wheel drive is essential if you want to stay here; aside from the main coastal road (highway 34), there are very few asphalt roads in Uvita and you'll be spending a fair amount of time driving on extremely bumpy dirt roads.

We absolutely love this place!! The Glamping „Tent“ is so comfortable and big. The bathroom the cleanest one on our 1 month jouney in CostaRica. You are surrounded by the Jungle, awsome property. The Food was the best, so good that we have 2 times diner there. Really the food is of such high quality and the staff was so friendly. You're missing out if you don't come here!!! Best place in CostaRica (for us) because everything just fit. 10 of 10!

Very nice villa (Heliconia). Had everything we needed during our stay. It’s clean and well equipped. The jacuzzi was great to have during one of the rainy nights. We wanted to turn on the TV but couldn’t locate the remote and there was no extra one. In the end we really didn’t need the TV anyway. We wanted access to washer and dryer because we had been traveling for a week before reaching Uvita but the washer broke. They offered to wash our clothes for free but we opted to just wash all by hand and use the dryer since we were out and about. We didn’t try the breakfast or food offering as there was a large party and we wanted to start very early. The kitchen in the villa was great because we were able to make a simple breakfast for ourselves. Everything was great and staff were friendly and accommodating and easily reached using WhatsApp. The bedrooms on the second floor is only accessible through outside stairs and the bathroom is located on the main floor. We initially thought this will be an issue but we were fine. To reach the area you will have to drive up a rock and dirt road from Route 34. It’s secluded, peaceful and great experience. There were other guests but we didnt hear nor see many people because the villas and tents were spread out. It is atypical for us to stay farther outside of the main area when vacationing but we appreciated the experience Manoas offered particularly in Costa Rica where we were surrounded by the greenery and sound of nature.

Casa Rio was amazing, huge house with all mod cons and great value for money. Manoas feels remote but is easy to get to up steep dirt track. it’s a very special place with beautiful plants and wildlife, we saw howler monkeys, lots of different toucans and blue Morpho butterflies. food was particularly good, great cooking done by a tiny team. highly recommended.

This place is amazing! The situation of the house was peaceful, had amazing views, and great birds to sit and watch while relaxing. Not only does it have a swimming pool but the river is just below for a great swim. But to top it all the staff were great as well. The young man who showed us to our room was always on hand and quick to respond to any questions too! I would highly recommend this place.
