rooms was front of reception so you listen everything, to midnight there was noisy and we can not sleep

Nice little hotel near the San Jose International Airport with great staff. Good for one night but the rooms are very noisy due to being close to a busy intersection. Also the bed wasn't very comfortable. Could feel all the springs in the mattress.

The room I had was right on the corner. You could hear the noise from the road very loud but luckily I had ear plugs.

Small really hot room. No AC, no fan... no option to have open windows. We got there late night, we had not water or cups... glasses. Just 1 towel (booking was for 2 ppl). We take turns to have some kind of nap... Staff was nice and empathetic, but not power to fix issues.

It had a very basic infrastructure, restaurant was cheap quality, so I ordered by Uber Eats. It is a house that has been remodeled as a “Hotel”. Good for the night if you are traveling to the airport the next morning and want a cheap place.

The room we stayed in (#2) was very loud. It is next to the check-in desk and what I believe is the laundry room, so loud noises were frequent throughout the night and morning. I would recommend avoiding this room, the other rooms may be better.

Try to avoid the rooms on the top floor- birds nesting in the roof/duct work so very noisy through the night.

The staff was amazing and very friendly. I loved that their English was limited so I could practice my Spanish! Very close to the airport. The bed and pillows are super comfy. Yes, there is hot water!

Conviently located in the center of Alajuela. Parks, restaurants, and churches within walking distance. Staff are all friendly and spike English or at least they tried.

Excellent breakfast included. It was a delicious hot breakfast and had fresh fruit. Great overall value. All the staff members were friendly and helpful. Will definitely stay at Park View Hotel and Restaurant when in Alajuela, Costa Rica again.

The location is amazing, directly across from the Cathedral & park. Very beautiful, & shops, restaurants’s & super markets as well as the town market are in walking distance.
