Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.

By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesTwo hours between times for the shuttle service to the beach was too infrequent. It should be every hour. The drink and food prices were very expensive.
The staff was friendly. The pool was great (the kids loved the water slide). The views were amazing and the daily juice at reception was a family favorite!

United StatesThe breakfast buffet we paid for was very limiting for gluten free options, and was repetitive
The room, the staff and the views were incredible! They were so kind and the room was perfect for us. The pool was wonderful as well. The staff took the time to visit with our toddler and were above and beyond kind!

United StatesThere was nothing not to like about this resort. It went beyond our expectations and we highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for comfort and beauty.
The resort is absolutely beautiful! We really felt immersed in nature. We didn't see a lot of wildlife on the premises, but we could hear them all around us. The staff, the rooms, the views, the resort are all AMAZING!

United StatesThe best place to stay in Manuel Antonio! It is located close to restaurants but away from the chaos of the middle of town. Also an easy shuttle ride to the beach. But the best part was the STAFF. They were so helpful with arranging tours and stepped in to help when a guide from a private tour we had arranged to the park didn’t show up. We also loved the family pool and the dining experience by it. There was an adult only pool as well which meant that families could relax and not feel we were bothering adults who didn’t want kid energy around. Very relaxing stay!

CroatiaThat we had to leave.
The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. They were genuinely excited to point out wildlife and to recommend local activities. Because of when we booked, we stayed two nights and in another hotel (a “fancier” one) for our other two nights in Manuel Antonio. I wish we’d been able to stay at Si Como No the whole time. The other one gave off serious White Lotus vibes. Everyone we met at Si Como No was warm and kind, including guests. Incredible views, tons of birds, good food, and squirrel monkeys at breakfast.

CanadaNothing! It was great. Unrelated to the hotel: The only thing to make sure you do, is book Manuel Antonio national park tickets in advance as they book out very quickly.
Beautiful property in the jungle. The rooms balcony overlooks the jungle and a view of the ocean. Every morning we had tucans and hummingbirds on the trees infront of our balcony. The breakfast was marvelous with lots of options to choose from, also very kid friendly options as well as local choices. Coffee in the room was great, and they even gave us a complimentary wine bottle. The kids pool was a big hit with our kids, and it had a swim up bar which was nice. They had a movie theater playing kids movies every night which was nice for the nights we didn’t plan any activities. There was a shuttle to the beach and national park, as well as access to a butterfly Garden. Monkeys, iguanas and various birds can be seen on the hotel grounds. The staff was exceptional! Very friendly and helpful.

CanadaThe standard of the room is more like a 3 star, not 4 star. The stairs from the rooms to the reception may be not very friendly to those elder people and it's a little bit tiring. But considering the view, it's worthy.
fantastic view, very clean and comfortable beds, A/C and hot water works properly, friendly and responsible staff, good service, walking distance to a restaurant area

United KingdomWe really enjoyed our stay at Si Como No. The whole complex was very clean and tidy and we loved that we saw so many animals in the surrounding rainforest including sloths and monkeys. The staff were extremely friendly and made effort to remember guests names. Organising transport and trips was easy and all exceeded our expectations. Thank you for a lovely stay.

United StatesThe onsite restaurants were very pricey. The room was fine. The bed wasn't very comfortable and there was no TV. Our two kids had to sleep on a pullout couch that was smaller than a double bed. I wish they would have had a 2 queen bed option available when we booked.
I loved that the resort felt like it was in the jungle. The foliage was beautiful and the views were stunning. The staff was all very nice and helpful and the shuttle to the beach was convenient.

Si Como No was a fantastic place to stay for a few days. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and remembered our names when we went for breakfast (which was delicious). The views from our room were beautiful, we saw toucans in the tree and a sloth from our balcony. The two pools were great, it was nice to relax by the adults pool and it wasn't too busy. The onsite restaurant is nice and you can also walk to various other restaurants and bars. I wish we had stayed there longer! It was probably our favourite place of around six hotels in Costa Rica.

United StatesWe stayed in a Deluxe room lower on the property and it was in need of an update. I stayed in a Superior room 3 years ago and it was much nicer and higher on the property so we were able to see more wildlife from our balcony. This didn’t detract from our stay at all however, so if a Deluxe room is all that is available I still highly recommend staying.
A perfect setting to experience the Pura Vida way of life and the Manuel Antonio area. Being surrounded by rainforest, its sounds and all the wildlife made for a magical stay. We saw squirrel monkeys, heard howler monkeys in the morning & night, had an iguana visit us on our balcony and saw so many types of birds including Toucans and Red Tailed Macaws. Every staff member we interacted with was very friendly and helpful for our every need. We enjoyed both pools and loved the Rico Tico restaurant setting to see so many monkeys. I suggest getting up at sunrise to see & hear as much as possible. The monkeys only seem to pass through early in the morning.

United KingdomWe loved everything but just wanted to note that we lost power and mains water to our apartment block a couple of times during our stay (I think there were some works going on externally to the hotel?). The interruptions were only brief and it didn't affect our enjoyment, but we thought that some prior warning may have been useful!
Our stay at Si Como No was absolutely brilliant. The staff were really friendly and went out of their way to make sure we had a great time... They even gave me a birthday cake! The location was perfect for exploring Manuel Antonio National Park, and the surrounding beaches. The facilities of the hotel were excellent, and we made use of the pool every day of our stay. We also ate at the restaurant above the complex... The food and service there were exceptional. Overall, I 100% recommend this hotel; it was the perfect way to finish an incredible trip to Costa Rica, and we will definitely come back on our next trip
