We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.

Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

CanadaThe staff have been really kind, and the hotel is absolutely gorgeous. We're here due to hospital stay at Hospital Metropolitano Lindora and this has been an oasis of calm after tremendously stressful days. Great restaurant downstairs, pool upstairs. The owner's private art collection makes the hotel it's own art gallery. I would highly recommend to anyone, especially if you are dealing with the hospital which is about 7 away minutes by Uber.

United StatesI’ve stayed at Studio Boutique Hotel five or six times now—it’s my go-to stopover in Costa Rica, especially when heading to the Caribbean. The property is beautiful, the staff are incredibly helpful (especially when I’m traveling solo with my 3-year-old), and the included breakfast is amazing. My son loves it here too! The rooftop pool is a favorite, and though I rarely make it to the gym, it’s a great amenity. Swanky yet very child-friendly—highly recommend. Five stars!

United StatesThe staff they were so welcoming, and we came in from our flight at midnight. The art obviously spectacular. We liked the detail of everything such as Venetian plaster walls. We enjoyed sitting under the tree in the entrance. We were basically doing a one day layover to get to Miguel Antonio but if we ever go to San Jose, we will definitely return. Thank you so much for the wonderful hospitality.

HungaryThis hotel has everything you'd need, we used it as a starting point for our journey in Costa Rica. It was approx. 30 minutes from the airport, the transport has been managed perfectly by the hotel. The staff is exceptionally kind, the room was pretty good. The breakfast there was one of the best we ever had, so many options to choose from, all fantastic! Our rented car has been delivered here free of charge, it was a perfect spot to set off.

United KingdomIn order to get the free tea and coffee you have to go down to the restaurant on the ground floor. There is a coffee machine in the room but you have to buy pods if you want to use it. The breakfast was only OK - hot food was overcooked and dry by the time we came down to breakfast on both days. Fruit selection only OK
A nice find in a good area of San Jose, only a 30 minute drive from the airport. It has a really nice vibe with lots of original art on display on every floor - a genuine boutique hotel. Decent breakfast, a Pool on the 3rd floor - nice to catch the sunset. Tea & coffee available at all times. Safe underground car park. Near to a wide variety of restaurants and shops in Santa Ana

United KingdomThe front desk made a mistake on our booking and woke us up to rectify this at 10pm, after a long haul flight.. This should have been sorted out at check in, several hours earlier?! The reception should consider greeting their guests with a warmer welcome which was our experience throughout the rest of CR. There was no porter. No one to show us to our room. No welcome drink. I was surprised. The breakfast was OK and fairly average; waiting staff in the restaurant were lovely. This definitely feels like a stopover hotel from the airport and onto the rest of CR. I wanted it to be so much better!
The room was clean and large and the cost was good for 2 rooms. The hotel has interesting art work and the breakfast staff were friendly.
