The food truck was advertised as open until 11pm, but I went to get food at 9:30 and was told it was no longer serving food.

The lady who greeted me at the front desk was very sweet and friendly, and understanding of my limited Spanish. The dorm I stayed in was clean and comfortable (I passed out so fast!)

Due to location you had no other choice then to eat at the food truck on site. Its also air-conditioned so very cold.

Everything is run well. The rooms don't hold more the 2 bunks. Great value for money and the airport is right there, taxi was easy to order with a $5 pick up and drop off service that was also quick. Beds comfortable and quiet. Great Internet speed. I would recommend and use again if i need a layover.

My room was next to the outdoor area and quite loud music was playing outside but it was off by 10:30PM. A bar of soap would've been nice for the shower.

Staff were really helpful. The food truck being right in the driveway is super convenient and the food was good. The driver Toucan recommended seemed to be trying to take advantage with price and then was 30min late to pick me up so I took an Uber instead. Would stay again if I need to be near the airport. Internet was good.

Considering the place is far from the city and you just landed, you are a bit stuck. The host only tries to convince you to go with a specific taxi that charges twice more than Uber. The doorms are quite small.

My room was volcano 2, it was unfortunately right by the outdoor LED light which was blaring into the room and made it difficult to sleep. AC is very effective, so remember to turn it down or put it on a different setting before going to bed, I felt bad and didn’t want to disturb my bunk mate but I just want to say that it is a very good AC! 😅

It was steps away from the airport, great for red eye flight as short overnight stay. 24hrs reception, Lorena was amazing! I arrived later than anticipated as the shuttle driver didn’t show up, but Sebastian was quick to respond on WhatsApp even at 1am. Lorena was considerate and put me in a 2 bedrooms dorm instead of my booked 6 bed dorm for the trouble with the driver and not to wake others who had arrived earlier. Very thankful for her.

I think they could do a bit more on boarding or orientation of the property. The showers were quite unique and I struggled to figure out how to get the hot water running.

The host was Excellent. She's so kind, friendly, and helpful. I arrived before check in time and because the room was ready, she allowed me to check in. She would always happily organize taxi services and she even woke me up for my airport Transfer.

Only negative comment is that the walls are very thin, so you easily hear people in other rooms. It’s still perfect for a night when arriving in Costa or leaving !

It is near the airport. The transportation service to the hostel was easy & useful. The breakfast was super good. The staff was super nice. They helped me a lot cause I had problems with my shuttle.

The bathrooms were small but you could change in the shower rooms instead which were large.

This was the perfect hostel to start off my trip to Costa Rica at! The staff were very friendly and helpful, it was very well organized, the rooms were comfortable, the showers were fantastic and it was super close to the airport, only a $5 taxi ride. The desk also asked if I wanted them to call me a taxi when I was leaving. I think I’ll book it again when I go back to the airport.
