While using the shower, the water doesn't for down for a long time. Also there is a lot of water on the floor all the time so it's slippery. In the room, there is no kettle or fringe, which would be useful.

Good localisation, especially when you have a flight soon ( it's very close to the airport). It's also close from the city centre and the bus stop (you can go to santa maria or to the airport for 1€). You can use the swimming pool with no charge. It's pretty cheap for a sal. It's very near to bakery and to market.

there were no toilet paper when we arrived. In room with 2 single beds was only one blanket. on second bed was only cover. Room and water was extremely cold. and there is Wi-Fi which is not working at all.

The staff was absolutely brilliant, kind and helpful They waited for me in the middle of the night and checked if everything was ok. The morning after they gave me precious tips on how to change EUR to ECV, how and where to buy a local sim card, how to get to the places I needed to reach next.

The mattresses were old style springs, which are not the most comfortable (ok for a night or 2). The main problems were the water and kitchen. The shower was hit or miss...either scalding hot and impossible to use, or really low water pressure...to the point it was difficult to wash soap off. The kitchen was a disaster: dirty dishes everywhere and generally unclean. Wifi would frequently cut out.

It is located fairly close to the airport (you could walk about 30 minutes to get there if you wanted), and is generally a good location! Near to a couple of nice cafes (Girasol and Bom Dia; 5 minute walk) and minibuses to take to Santa Marta (6 minute walk). There were 2 fans in the room for some ventilation in the warm night. Absolutely nothing special, but for 23 euros, totally fine for a night. Pool looked clean and nice! Hosts allowed us to use the rooms until 8pm the day of check-out while we waited for a flight....that was totally awesome!

There was no one at the door when we arrived, even though we told them the exact time of our arrival and we arrived on time. Thus we were waiting in the street at night knocking on the door until someone realized we were there. (To make things worse, there was a black out in the whole island so it was entirely dark in the street. Luckily our taxi driver waited with us). Cleaning should be definitely improved.

The premises is located in a good area in Espargos and it is very close to the airport. Great if you just want to rest a few hours before your flight departs. The room is equipped with fans and the window has net in case you want to keep it open. The price is convenient and they drove us to the airport without any charge, which was very appreciated. TV and free Wi-Fi

The receptionist didn't speak a word of other language than Portuguese which was a but unexpected as the place was listed on booking.com. On the other hand, in the end everything worked out.

A decent accommodation in Espargos within walking distance from the airport. It was clean, quiet, secure. Had all the amenities.

Every thing was great

Exceptional hospitality. There was a little water problem with my room before I got there, and was greeted by the chairman of the football club, Carlos. He explained things over a drink, or 2, and Carlos asked if he could upgrade me to Angela apartments. I was a little dubious because of the reviews. No problem. It was superb. He personally took me there and any bad reviews are not true. It was spotlessly clean and the staff were exceptional and the apartment was more central. I was still allowed to use the facilities, for free, at Acedemico de Sal. It was graduation weekend and football against Sao Vincent, Espargos won. The City was buzzing. I was so happy to be there to see everyone, and myself, enjoying a Saturday night. I felt part of the community. No extra charge for accommodation, and they would not accept payment until everything was sorted. Unbelievable hospitality. Thank you all

I was the only tourist there and liked to be with the local people who use the swimming pool too. The staff was super friendly and helpfull. The room was basic, but clean. The shower worked properly. I felt very safe there as a solo female traveller.

Room was clean and comfortable, staff was very friendly and super helpful, it is close to the airport and only 5min walk to were the aluguers are stationed (25mins to Sta Maria is 100esc) and Palmeira is about 10mins drive

The location is perfect for business: WiFi is good, and all government services are within 2minutes walk. (immigration, tax office, municipality, chamber of commerce for opening company, tribunal, lawyers, bank). For good breakfast, there is opposite hotel a Panideira bread shop place, very well priced too. A supermarket is opposite the Panideira. If they add just 1 water kettle (for cooking water) in the big lobby (after when the bar is closed) and just 1 hairdryer also in lobby, the stay would be even better - but it was not promised, so this is just my suggestion ;) - , and this extra, would be without costing the hotel anything :) :)
