Older property but clean. Shower had no pressure one morning. The couch in the bedroom was very uncomfortable but the bed was great. AC worked. Quite a bit of street noise with open windows. At night ok.

The room was a bit outdated and some of our sheets had some stains on it. The Wi-Fi wasn’t really working, unfortunately.

Hotel room was close to everything and is situated in the city center of Mindelo. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We asked for a packed breakfast as we needed to take the ferry early the next morning (before breakfast time). We were very happy to see that they had prepared a bag full of goodies for us!

By western standards, the hotel is a bit tired at the edges. It's not a luxury hotel but functional.

The staff and owners were absolutely lovely and Lorrineida speaks very good English. Olde worlde charm of the hotel and it's central location were much appreciated. Enjoyed a leisurely breakfast each morning. Will definitely return.

We had one night with strong winds and their balcony doors were not well fixed so banging very loud. However next night with no wind it was no problem anymore. Also the warm water doesn’t stay warm enough for two people showering after each other or for a bath.

Great friendly service even at night. Basic fine rooms, good enough for the price value. Very clean including the common areas. Great location for restaurants in the city and the beach.

The Wifi-connection was not very good. It was also too bad that the restaurant was not open in the evening. We stayed here 4 years ago and at that time it was open every night with live music.

Although I was supposed to get a better room, with a balcony, and the bed was comfortable enough, when I took a shower tue next day the water came out brown! Dirt brown!

The location is unbeatable, right in the centre of town, the building has a lot of potential but currently is in shambles!

We were deeply disappointed with our stay. The "suite" looked nothing like the photos—it felt more like a dark, unpleasant hole. From the moment we arrived, we felt uncomfortable. Our "suite" was located directly above the kitchen, and the smell was unbearable. The kitchen’s exhaust fan was right outside our window, making the noise deafening. Sleeping was nearly impossible. To make matters worse, we even encountered cockroaches in the bathroom. Overall, this was an awful experience, and we would not recommend staying here.

The matrass was comfort6tzc4able. The personal was helpful and friendly.

I have stayed here a few times over the years and always receive a warm welcome from the owners and the friendly staff. It feels like a home from home for me. Good location close to the harbour, shops restaurants and bars. Already looking forward to my next visit.
