The location is excellent, close to Jan Thiel beach. The beds are large and comfortable, the air conditioning worked well. The owner and staff are kind and helpful.

Overpriced breakfast A layer of mud on the windows, probably caused by the construction next door Being charged the full $50 airport transfer even though there was another couple, also charged $50, on the same ride. A Taxi would have been $60 for the four of us.

The bathroom door was broken and could use replacing. The kitchen was too small

The host is very nice, the outdoor areas and pool with all the lush trees and surroundings were gorgeous. The island breeze is amazing. I also like that she provided a little kitchen as we had some food to cook although rather small in size not much room to prep. It was close to a supermarket that had gluten free bread etc and close to the beach as well as snorkeling spots.

The description says there is a communal kitchen, but on arrival when we wanted to cook, we were told the kitchen could be used if you paid an additional fee. This is not mentioned on this site (except in reviews of other guests) Pool was great but did not feel clean, there was a film on the water, I would guess from everyone’s sunscreen. Maybe we just stayed here between two pool cleanings? Some pieces of furniture felt outdated, for instance the lamp on the night stand was rather old and rickety, and there were some spots on the lamp shade which I guess was maybe mold?

Great room, cozy atmosphere and friendly staff. We were welcomed with some iced tea which was very much appreciated after the heat of the day! We had a leaking airconditioning unit, but the staff immediately contacted a repair service. Sadly the repair service could not come that day so we were offered the room next door. Good location if you want to explore Jan Thiel, or even just chill at the pool. Car could be parked inside the property which is closed off with a gate, this feels safer than leaving it on the side of the road.

Great location next to JanThiel. The house is amazing and the rooms are comfortable with nice views. Parking included in the house. The owners and staff are so polite, friendly and well dedicated, they make me feel comfortable every moment. Thanks Reinaldo and Lupe for your amazing kindness to myself. They do an amazing breakfast really a local one, some tasty and marvelous flavours. For sure to repeat in the future.

Nothing could be better because everything was ok. I had a little problem with the rental car because it was to low and when I wanted to park I had some issues. But that was because my car was to low.

the breakfast was perfect, delicious exceeds my expectations. The bed was soft and clean. The pool was clean and the service that we got from the owners make me feel at home. Mom and son make me feel like family. I love it

I am a solo traveller so safety is my priority in booking. I thought it was advertised as hotel but it felt more like an upgraded airbnb. Nothing against it as I stayed at airbnbs in the past, but would like to really stay in a " hotel" this time around. I did not get that feel. It felt like living in someone's big house. The staff were nice but nowhere to be found in the morning when you need beach towel. So I used the same beach towel for 3 days :( And apparently, beach towels are supposed to be used 2x which is a silly policy as they get sandy and soaked in salt water when you use it in the beach. What really put me off was the inflexibility. I had a city & beach tour booked on my last day and I wanted to freshen up before heading to airport. Hotel owner allowed for the bags to be kept in the reception but if I wish to freshen up, I should then keep paying for the room for $10 an hour after 12nn. She said that its because they will keep the room for me and not release it to other guests. there were at least 3 rooms upstairs and in the beginning of my stay, I was sure I was the only guest except on my last day. So even if I kept the room, they would not have lost any booking. Oh and it was an awkward conversation to use the toilet to pee on my return from the tour. In the end, I booked the VIP lounge at the airport so I could shower! No way I will pay $50 just to shower at the property and VIP lounge charged $37 with beverages and all amenities.

The room was a very good size, beddings were very comfortable. Close enough to Jan Thiel beach club, walking distance but not super close. I like that the supermarket is also on the way to the beach so it was easy to get some essentials. But if I would come back, I will stay at Downtown as this area is very hotel/residential and there was nothing around, not even a coffee place. So it was a struggle to grab something on the way etc.

Good location altough far from center but in any place in Curaçao you need a car! Quite and clean! Putting the car inside accommodation was good and didn't had any interaction with owners except 1st day!

I got there around 2 pm and there wasn’t anybody in the reception. I went back at 3 pm and they told me my room was not ready and I waited for more 30 minutes. They don’t clean the room. They said they would clean the room each 2 days (that would be already terrible) but they actually don’t clean any day, they just fold the blanket and put desinfectante in the toilet. They don’t wash the bathroom not eve the sink, they don’t clean the floor and not collect the garbage. To complete I had internet in my bedroom only on my last night. To sumarizes I don’t recommend this place.

Old beach towels that are not changed everyday. Inside my microwave was rotten food from the previous guest, I stayed one week and the microwave was not cleaned, I realized the rotten food the last day of my stay and was gross plenty of warms. I was accused to left the food inside the microwave.

Location, rooms and beds are comfortable, outside the house is windy and chill. Helpful staff. Good and safe neighborhood

My room had glasses of a broken glass from a previous stay in the back part of the refrigerator, even thought we stay one week, the broken glasses where never cleaned, it can be pretty dangerous when walking barefoot. The hotel needs new beach towels. They are super old and damaged. Be aware that if you want to use the kitchen they will charge you US$25. Personally I wouldn’t call it hotel boutique but rooms for rent.

Location was good, rooms are comfortable, staff is friendly and helpful. There is parking space for rented cars. Rooms are quiet.

They offer a kitchen, however they charge US$25 per room and this is not stated in the main page of booking. In one week stay they change the bath towels once, and because we asked. Beach towels have holes, are too old and need to be replaced, the beach towels are changed just on request. This is a place design just to sleep.

Good location, staff is helpful and ready to guide your trip, room is comfortable and have good mattress, there are 3 parking spots for guests. Rooms have microwave and refrigerator.

Family run small hotel - reminds me of a bed & breakfast. Lupe is a beautiful person - thoroughly enjoyed talking with her. Made a friend for life there.
