Everything was absolutely lovely! The location of boca Simón is perfect wrt. to many aspects: you can reach everywhere on the island very easily as the next Bus stop is only 2 min away (at the church), there is a supermarket close by, it’s calm at Night and there is even a small snorkeling Spot at the beach 200m away. There is also a nice pool which you can use if you want to have a quiet day. The biggest plus of boca Simón is Magdy, the owner. He will help you with everything you Need and more. He is not only a great host but an awesome human and friend that will make your stay in Curacao special. I can 100% recommend Boca Simón to fellow travellers.

I dont like that they didnt change the bed sheets at least every other day. My sheets got soiled accidentally which was a 25 USD charge but they didnt bother to change it for the duration of our stay.

I really loved the location. If you dont plan to rent a car and you are relying on public transportation, this location is perfect. The supermarket is walking distance and you can take the bus to take you to mambo beach or the sea aquarium or into the city. The place looks just like the pictures. The room was a lot smaller than I anticipated but that didnt bother me. It was functional. Everything was clean and tidy. I enjoyed the pool. It was a really decent size and I enjoyed relaxing there on the days I didnt plan to go out. Magda and the other members of staff were very courteous and welcoming. Even showed me how to get food delivered. I would definitely stay here again if im ever visiting Curacao.

Dirty, without maintenance, with birds into the kitchen eating the food for guests. The owner is aggressive and rude. The pool is dirty and all over the place.

Too short a visit!

Owner was the kindest soul accommodating to all my needs as a concerned parent whose teenage sons were working on the island and came for a visit. They were free to visit me and use the facilities.

I was here in June 2023. I travel a lot for my job and I am quite selective. What I look for is the "soul" of a place, its identity, its unique character. I would not change Boca Simon for anything else in Curacao. Why? For here you feel at home. Besides, clean, equipped, spacious , excellent position, choice between private kitchen or fantastic common one

Unfortunately, our original flight got canceled so we arrived one day later and still had to pay for a 5 day stay even though we were there for only 4 days! We felt cheated! Also website claims there was a washer & dryer facility but was verbally told there was none for the guests

10 out of 10 for the Service as it was outstanding. All the Information we got were good and helped us a lot. Place is about 30 min walk away from the Center. Room had all we needed and good Restaurants are about 10 to 15 min walk away. Was a good stay sadly it was booked out and we could not book it for langer. Thanks for the good time.

Unfortunately, our stay at Boca Simon was not pleasant. Firstly, we received a room that looked very different from the image. The image had two windows, lots of light and an extra sofa. Out room was way smaller, with one small window, plus the bathroom had dangerously hanging ceiling corners that aimed to hurt our heads. Such ceilings would fit very short people. Also there were no soap. My friend's bed sheets smelled with sweat, and it seemed like they weren't changed. She had to go and ask in the office. The pillows were super bad. No soundproofing at all. We heard conversations and also felt the smoke coming from people below smoking. The location isn't the best, but it doesn't hurt if one has a car. Even if the place offers cheaper stay, we only ask for accurate images on Booking and fresh sheets. It isn't much to ask for.

-We arranged a pick up from the airport with the hotel. The driver they sent was very friendly but did leave us feeling very unsettled when he advised us to be careful of an area next to the hotel where "people hide behind bins and bushes and will jump out on you with a knife or gun to mug you." It left us wondering what we had arrived to? We felt on edge walking past there to the main area the following day but all was fine. We walked that road numerous times- day and night and just kept our wits about us- again, all was ok. We appreciate him looking out for us but it was very daunting hearing that and was not the start to our holiday we had anticipated. -Under the bed was very dusty. -There was no hot water.

-Room was comfortable. -Although we never used it, the pool area being available was a nice touch. Same for the kitchen area.

I liked the spaces and the location near the sea and stores to buy groceries, the staff was very kind and helpful, the room was small but perfect for solo travelers, I would recommend!

We have a problem is our room two days in a row, the Black Waters come out through the Siphon of the shower. The first day they cleaned but don't solve the problem. The second day was more complicated and the smell was unpleasant. The owner help us to solve the problem and give us a retribution. I appreciate how they handled the situation.

Our room comprised of two huge beds and ‘sleeps up to four people’, although I doubt that two couples would ever want to share a room, or that four friends would want to share two beds! THERE IS NO HOT WATER!!! This is not mentioned on the website. We qdidn’t fancy a cold shower early in the mornings before our tours, so we went without. Feeling unclean was not a good start to each day. Having a cold shower at the end of the day isn’t very nice either! There is a wooden slatted door to our tiny bathroom through which you can hear EVERY sound from the person in the bathroom. This is highly embarrassing for both parties inside and outside the bathroom. There is no storage in the room. We had to ask for hangers which hung on a short pole sticking out randomly from one wall, so we also had to hang our clothes on curtain rails around the room. There are no drawers, so we had to leave our foldaway clothes in our rucksacks on the floor. Our room looked messy with clothes and luggage everywhere. There is also nowhere in the bathroom to put toiletries except one tiny basket in the shower, or on top of the little cistern. If products then fell behind the toilet (which did happen) it’s extremely hard to retrieve them! No complimentary bathroom toiletries are supplied. There is no safe in the room, so after a disastrous attempt at leaving our passports, credit cards and valuables in the office which couldn’t be retrieved once reception closed, we had to keep all our valuables in our room. The TV only works through WiFi via a phone/tablet/computer, there are no channels. Our phones wouldn’t pair with the TV, so we couldn’t use it. The complex is not finished. A lot of it appears to be still being built, although there were no builders on-site at any stage during our six day stay. We went upstairs to watch a sunset and sat on two chairs on an unfinished concrete floor on the half-finished rooftop which on one side does not have any safety barriers.
