    DEAL BREAKER - I caught Salmonella food poisoning after eating at the BBQ Theme night that you had to book in advance. I TOTALLY wish that I just stayed and ate at the main restaurant now. Spoilt the last 2 day's of my honeymoon and I was HORRENDOUSLY ILL for over 2.5 WEEKS and only after a course of antibiotics upon returning to the UK, did I start to feel better again. Not sure but the open air BBQ area had rats - This was confirmed by the hotel waiting staff after they screamed and did a runner for a few minutes, during our sitting. An email was send to the hotel in regard to all of the above, but I am still waiting to hear back from the hotel. I am not bitter, nor am I making things up to be slanderous, but IT HAPPENED, and it HAS been confirmed as SALMONELLA Food Poisoning. Just go careful where you choose to eat. It might be bad luck, but I did get admitted into Schiphol Airport in house hospital upon landing and was unable to travel any further that day. An inconvenience and extra costs occurred. that SHOULD HAVE been EASILY AVOIDED.

    The hotel and facilities were great. Nice swimming pool, nice beach access and wheelchair friendly with ramp access to all areas. Nice large seafront room - Bottom Floor and on a corner - (Room 2032), so not many people passing by at night. Good access to everywhere. Cocktails package quite good - Waiting staff hit and miss with queuing to be served, but generally acceptable, Nice staff at the beach bar - Smile, chat, take and interest and be kind - It goes a long way. Overall the hotel met all our expectations - Location is a 15-20 minute walk into Willemstad. Not much else around the hotel. The food in the main restaurant was great - Lot's of choice for every tastebud. I'm certain that we were the only two British people who were staying at the hotel when we visited for our honeymoon but the Dutch people who we met, all spoke English, as for the USA and Canadians (of course). The majority of the staff spoke great English also. SOME of the reception staff need to be a bit more professional and helpful. A smile upon arrival isn't really much to ask, but hey, ho.... That's on them and not us.

    My stay has been very bad since Monday through Friday it took 5 days for them to remove a safe that was beeping non stop and even drove the manager crazy and have her a head ale when she came to my room on Saturday. She could not believe how we stayed in the room and understands why I was upset. My ac didn’t work till Friday night they couldn’t understand why it was shutting down at night

    The resort was great, check in was easy although my room was not ready I was still able to enjoy the resort. The pool and bartenders was amazing. I will definitely be staying here again when I visit Curacao again.

    A very expensive stay for very poor service in a 5 star hotel

    The food is horrible, I don't know what kind of chef they have, everything had a very strange taste and, every day the same menu, something that made me sick was eating in a place where the pigeons came in flocks to stand on the tables to eat. whatever was there and then defecate, if anyone just stand up to look for anything else they had to go back to take a new meal, the waiters do not serve people like in any other restaurant, they are only instructed to pick up and clean the tables. The staff there hardly looks you in the eye and I feel that they are super exploited at work, it cannot be that only 2 people take care of 50 rooms on a single floor, it is humanly impossible to clean, accommodate, and organize all the rooms. Another thing is that they don't put towels in your room and if they do are incomplete, so be carefully if at check out you could be extra charge for that, they don't clean the room unless you follow the maid. The air conditioning turned off twice, I called the reception on multiple occasions and they told me that they would send the maintenance man and he never arrive, he only arrived when I went down to the reception to complain in front of all the guests, which is highly unnecessary to me and awkward for all the people there. The door of the room is super heavy, very difficult to open or close with the access card and above all you had to pull or swing the door very violently for it to close. They didn't put the typical little bottles of shampoo, conditioner, or body cream, when I asked for them to the maid, she gave me a bunch as an indirect way of telling me "Leave me alone." The elevators have a very strange smell, we had to stand there covering our nose, it was like garbage. The parking lots do not have security cameras and at night they are very dark, basically if you go to the car because you are going out or looking for something that you might have left, you are on your own.

    The pool is good and the beach has a nice view.

    Bad actitudes from most of staff. they asked to you to pay for some places to protect of sun, so it must be free. They require reservations for some restaurants, often they have the availability to attend more customers, however just said in a terrible actitud NO.

    We were celebrating our first anniversary/honey moon on the hotel, the idea was to relax and enjoy our time together, at first everything was lovely, but it turn into a nightmare. In summary there are a buffet, an Italian restaurant and a location for frittes, the other restaurants were either closed or not worth the time. The beach was fine, the sea clear, the pool was clean, and there were several bars on which you can order cocktails, only till 12 am, everything and I mean, everything was closed at 12 am. Outside all of that, let me get you through the rooms, at the start the accommodation was fine, they decorated everything according to our anniversary, that was really nice, but every night we slept there it was worst, they don't have a good seal, or something was really wrong the humidity kept accumulating and everything start to get wet, the cloth the sheets, the towels were never dry, the roof start to get drops of water and on the night it was like soft raining inside of the room, I got really sick because of this, it was not possible for me to continue on that room. The worst of all that was that the hotel service was really rude, we had to ask several times to fix this, once they said they fixed it but they left the room door opened, for God sake, we had all of our things there and anybody could take anything. Obviously the AC or I don't know what was wrong with the room was not fixed, then we called again, nothing we went to the front desk, they said they will send somebody, nothing, we called again and the guy, he hung up the phone on my wife, we called again and leg us waiting for more than 10 minutes. At the end they offer us another room like at 1 am, so we had to move all of our things there, but they were already wet now I will need to take another time off, to get myself healthy again.

    The start was good really nice but everything start to turn into a nightmare, the people were nice at the start. But when you requested some help, was not provided in the best possible way

    The beautiful beach with swing chairs!! The all inclusive restaurants were all so yummy!! The drinks made on the islands! Also in the evenings the dj that came and while we were there a whole drum line came and it was awesome!!

    The staff!! There was a lack of hospitality in every staff member that I encountered. The staff gave the impression that you were bothering them. Barely every cracking a smile, never stopping and engaging in a brief conversation, never showing any enthusiasm whatsoever. During the checkout process the staff member checking me out didn’t even ask how I enjoyed my stay. But I honestly don’t believe she cared if it was good or bad. I had so many issues from the time I checked in. My key card for the room wouldn’t open the door. Had to go back a forth to the front desk to have them reset it. Which didn’t work. One point they told me maintenance was going to check the door. But maintenance never came and I went through my whole stay damn near jimmying my room doer every-time I went in and out. There was so many other issues but thinking about them is only enraging me and really would like to move on from this horrible experience… management really needs to invest in training or retraining the staff on matters of hospitality. Something as little as a smile or “how are you, is this your first time staying with us?” can go a long way. Do better!

    Can’t say that there was much to like at this property. The beach would probably be the only thing

    The pool was dirty. The cleaning of the communs was not enough, plenty of void glass everywhere. Not enough people to serve at the bar or the kitchen. Tables and chairs of restaurant not cleaned well and these pigeons every instant eating your meal, that’s not possible, disgusting. We were very disappointed by Hilton this time, sorry for that.

    The building is nice and the exterior too. Big rooms. Good food.

    Wished the wall to shower was a tad longer... It's one of those modern bathrooms so the floor kept getting soaked, but that could just be me.

    The food and the staff were fantastic! Although we did rent a car there was no need to... the resort has everything you could possibly need and want. The waterpark was the highlight for my 6 year old. There is an app that you use to make reservations and any request you may have.

    Two of the restaurants were closed the day after I arrived. The food in the one restaurant that wasn't by reservation was always cold breakfast lunch and dinner all the same cold. When dining I was dining with pigeons all around me. Never Enough glasses to drink from. The air conditioner in my room had a leak and they turned it down to where the room was warm after the first day . Just to name a few

    The view of construction next door. It seems the hotel is undergoing an expansion and that probably what the only negative note.

    Loved everything and everyone at the Corandon. Best vacation ever. But I strongly recommend to go visit the Dolphin Academy where we did a dolphin encounter and it was incredible and unforgettable. At Playa Piscadó you will swim around turtles.. it was surreal and I hope people continues to visit but also respect the animals and the places they visit.

    The pigeons in the buffet area caused my skin to itch and also affected my sinuses. They were flying all over our food and always ready to eat from our meals. There was no medical personnel on site for any emergencies. The buffet was good, but could have included some local cuisine. Dessert got boring after 2 meals... Better arrangements could be made for restaurant dining as we had 2 terrible mistakes that ruined those experiences. The main pool was very murky. Definitely needed to be cleaned.

    The location was ideal and the beach was perfect. Very hard working and helpful staff.

    some of the items in the Main dining area were not named...i could not tell what some of the items were.

    Variety of foods to choose from was excellent.
