United StatesOur room was very run down. The microwave stopped working and no one came to repair/replace. Beds were not super comfortable. No top sheets. Comforter was very small.
Convenient to where we wanted to go. Nice staff. Pool was comfortable. Ice maker worked well. Clean property.

United KingdomThe pool didn’t appear to be cleaned on a daily basis . The service in the Bahia Restaurant was awful. We had to ask for the menu. Ask to order. Ask twice for water. The food was lovely but the staff were not interested in us as customers. We felt like an inconvenience as they stood and chatted at the bar and ignored us completely. We only ate there once on a 4 night stay and would have eaten every night had we felt welcome.
The apartment was lovely. Spacious with a nice balcony. The daily delivery of fresh bread and croissants was a nice start to the day.

Dominican RepublicOnly thing to ad is that the apartment had no T.V. The service at the restaurant could be improved (atleast staff, food was great). Some of the staff were always walking around with grumpy face but others were very helpfull.
The apartment was nice and quiet. The place was relaxed and we had good time.

United StatesWe rented two different apartments - 7B and 7C. 7B left A LOT to be desired. It was on the bottom floor, but just was not very functional. Although there was a small kitchen, there was no kitchen table or anywhere to eat. If you touched the refrigerator without shoes on, you would get an electric shock, and the sliding door leading out to the pool would not open and close properly or lock. Also, there were SO MANY ANTS. Luckily, 7C was much nicer, with a better kitchen area, including a kitchen table, a fridge that did not shock you, a door that opened and closed, and no ants. So we did all cooking and eating upstairs. If you are unlucky enough to get 7B, beware - ask for a refund and go somewhere else or hopefully the owners have made some adjustments and make it better.
Great location overlooking one of the best beaches on the island. Beautiful snorkeling right off shore. The studio apartments were directly in front of the pool, so a good location on the property too. The restaurant had nice sunsets with good drinks, the food was just so-so.

CanadaI wish I could have rented a car for one day only to drive around the island. The minimum is 3 days.
I really like this area with the beach at the bottom of the cliff. The 3C bus takes you into Willemstad for 2$ US. You need exact change. You can also stop off at other beaches. Check the bus schedule online. Its every 2 or 3 hours, depending on the day. Best thing to do is rent a car if you wish to travel around. The restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch & dinner however its expensive. There is another restaurant down by the beach and a small shop down the street (go left, pass the church). They serve Indonesian & Chinese food at a very reasonable price. I was able to eat one meal twice. There is a microwave, fridge and cutlery in the room. Staff were very accommodation and I really enjoyed my stay.

CanadaInternet virtually unusable (wasn't a huge deal as I was on vacation but even checking into flights or streaming music was difficult). Any other negative I think can be summed up by just clarifying this isn't a resort, you are renting someone's townhome/condo and should expect as such (extra cost for AC, coffee etc).
Beautiful views (cannot understate this), steps away from a nice beach, short drive from amazing beaches, quiet area of the island, friendly staff, options for fresh bread delivered to your apartment every morning, outdoor seating areas, nice pool, comfortable beds.

Ireland‘didn’t like’ would be too strong a phrase. If I was asked anything to improve the experience I’d say maybe a little more equipment in the kitchen and anti-mosquito materials would be nice (I hate mosquitoes! 😅)

Location is wonderful! it is at the lagoon beach, one stair separate the room from the beach. Swimming pool, very beautiful place.
