Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United StatesHousekeeping always came late in the day and by the time our room was cleaned, we only saw bath mats and hand towels twice in eight days. I get that the hotel is on the beach, but we could never fully get the sand off of our floor and inevitably it ended up in the bed. Not ideal, but understandable
The restaurants are great, hospitality staff was attentive and welcoming, food was delicious, good safe location close to Mambo and other attractions

Australiawhen I checked in the hotel held a $300 incidentals fee. when I checked out I paid the full amount of the stay. a few hours after I had checked out they put a hold on the same amount of money my stay cost. my stay was $1500. I had $3000 out of my account. it’s been 3 weeks and the held money isn’t back in my account. I did contact the hotel a few days later and they said they released it but I really think it’s ridiculous to take an incidentals fee and then put a hold on my money once I’ve already checked out and paid in full. either pay in full and hold the incidentals fee on checkin or hold payment and incidentals and have me sign on check out to release the payment to the hotel. having to have twice the amount in my account has been a massive stress especially since it apparently isn’t something that is easily fixed.
the beach was stunning. gorgeous water, plenty of beach chairs in and out of the shade. beds were comfortable staff were all very friendly and helpful bus into town / supermarket was very handy would come again just for the beach. I have zero complaints about my stay / the property until check out.

GermanyThe location is very nice: they have a beautiful beach perfect to relax, which is also decent for snorkeling (on the other side of the stone wall towards the open sea), and with a possibility to directly hop into one of the famous beach clubs for partying on Friday and Sunday night. Good restaurants on-site and a large room with big balcony. It is also possible to park your rental car for free

United StatesEverything was perfect. I wish they had one more really nice restaurant because the food at both their restaurants were absolutely delicious, ate there almost every day.
Beautiful resort, the food from the 2 restaurants was absolutely delicious. Just wish they had more restaurants, but there is a club and a few other restaurants close by love that there was a shop and an ice cream shop a few. Bars everything you can walk to it's on the hotel grounds. I have to say I saw a few families with special needs children and Groups Including wheelchairs and I love that the hotel catered for them. The aquarium next door you can walk to. There's tons of things that you can do right on the resort. It must do is the submarine tour. The staff we're excellent!!! No elevators, so request the first floor if needed. We had a first floor right at the front of the reservation desk, and it was an excellent spot.

Clean, beautiful and comfortable. It was very close to the airport so that was a plus for our short trip.

United StatesIn the shower, the wall mounted conditioner and body wash should be moved. Both me and my wife kept knocking them off the wall. We lost a lot of the conditioner and all of the body wash. There must be a club close by because I did hear music when I couldn’t sleep. When I was tired, I didn’t notice the music.
The buffet breakfast was great. We also bought some groceries at the local store. A couple of days we made breakfast and lunch and ate on the balcony overlooking the beach. With a great view of the ocean. We got certified in scuba diving on site while we were there. The scuba team were great. I would recommend getting certified there. The whole staff were very friendly. The location is great. It’s a very short walk to many restaurants and shops. Plus the aquarium is right next door.

FranceRoom totally lacked decor. Hardly any seating in the room. Gym aerobic equipment was in very poor (unusable) condition. Breakfast was very expensive relative to options available. Room was not good value for money, except for the view...
Beach is fantastic. Lovely lounge area with shade and loungers, services at both ends of the beach, outstanding swim area behind the breakwater, always clean and well maintained, towels and fresh water always available. Next door mall (Mambo Mall) has many excellent restaurants. Bliss the Berry offers very special healthy breakfasts. Bocas Argentine steak house is first class. Balconies with sea views are brilliant. Top floor is best. Gym is good for weights and floor exercises. We didn't dive on this trip, but we are experienced divers, and the dive operation looked first class.

NetherlandsMade a (confirmed) reservation at the Spa but when I arrived they were booked. Apparantly they accepted a guest who had not made a booking and took my spot. After talking to the manager I was rescheduled and promised a complimentary treatment later during the week. She would mail me about it but haven't heard again. I may not have used it however I feel a promise should be kept.
The location is second to none! Located on the beach with a 50m pool and four restaurants in the premises. Beautiful tropical garden too. The staff of the hotel are very friendly, cheerful and helpful. We felt really welcome. On arrival in our room we found a complimentary beach bag and LD water bottles. Just fantastic! Children activities are organized, which was great. Also offered are a walk through the zoutpannen with the lovely general manager and free yoga/bootcamps. The hotel is right next to Mambo beach, if you like to stroll and shop. All in all an amazing stay!

United StatesWe did not like that while on vacation for our babymoon we were put in the loudest most complained about room 4105. The way we had to hear guest congregate at the corner and hear housekeeping go in and out of that door slamming things left and right. It was not pleasant at all. We also didn’t like that wash clothes were not immediately placed in our room. We had to request them and it too 24 hours and multiple calls to get them delivered when we needed them the moment we called the first time.
The staff was truly the best part. The restaurant Hemingway was also great and had great food and wonderful staff. The proximity to the aquarium was a nice surprise. The beach was beautiful even though we mostly traveled out to other beaches.
