Beds could use an update. Mattress is not the best. A/C does not work well in some of the rooms - fortunately this wasn't an issue because of the breeze from the ocean.

If you want to experience the true nature of curacao, go to the west side of the island. Marazul is a very secure, quiet resort just outside Westpunt. There is excellent swimming/snorkeling/diving right at the resort (cliff face with accessible stairs) the suites are clean, large and with plenty of air conditioning. The on site manager, Rene, is very friendly and helpful. All the necessities were on hand, and you are a short drive to many beautiful beaches. There are a few restaurants within walking distance. Groceries should be picked up on your way, otherwise you have to drive 15 mins to buy groceries. Highly recommended.

the name resort brings me a sense of greater support, but there are few employees and the manager is there only half of the day. we run out of toilet paper, for example, and had to use paper napkins instead, until we were able to get more. the facility is nice, but classifying as a resort is wrong, it’s in fact a kind of airbnb chalets for divers.

Only thing that bothered us were the ants. Luckily these weren’t red ants just your regular ants. But you could not leave any food outside they would immediately!!

Spacious 3-bedroom house. Had everything we needed and more. Sufficient cooking utensils and each house has its own grill! The house had lots of table games which was perfect for the kids.

The upstairs bathroom window needs a screen to keep mosquitoes out. The bathrooms need counters/shelving on which to place toiletries. The doorknobs and stair handrail seemed “sticky” as if not clean (although they may be worn or weathered by the salt air).

The building is located on very pleasant grounds and was very private and quiet. For swimming, snorkelling or diving, access to the water was convenient. We enjoyed having the WiFi connectivity.

No major complaints. A rental car is definitely recommended. A note that the closest dive shop isn't on the resort property but just around the corner - a five minute walk. Also when snorkeling or diving from the resort, bring a dive flag since the boats, while infrequent, get quite close to shore.

Best location in Curacao. Ideal beaches for snorkeling and diving, both immediately around the resort and within a short drive. Very well maintained apartments. Well equipped for an extended stay. Very friendly and helpful resort manager. Easy access to main road and beaches. Beautiful sunset views from the resort and nearby restaurants.

The location is perfect, with amazing views of the sea and many species of birds around (we saw a lot of hummingbirds). The bungalow is bigger than I expected from the photos, it was comfortable and well equipped with everything we need. We arrived before the check in time and they were very kind to let us check in early. A great plus was also the washing machine, as we were able to do laundry.

It’s not a resort or a hotel, it’s more like a family vacation home for rental. There were personal belongings of the owners there and it wasn’t very clean, it was not what we were expecting.

It was very spatious and the manager was very kind to give us a free upgrade! It had a beautiful view, check in was easy.
