Absolutely loved my stay!!! This place is a little gem tucked away from the noise and rush of everyday life. From the moment I arrived, everything felt thoughtful and cared for. The attention to detail was incredible, from the delicious breakfast to the different sized pillows. Everything was spotless, the garden was beautifully maintained, and the whole space had such a calm, positive energy. Every member of staff greeted me with a genuine smile, which added so much warmth to the experience. It’s the kind of place that makes it easy to relax and breathe. Just five minutes from the Mesa Potamos waterfalls, it really feels like a quiet slice of paradise. Can’t wait to come back!

Such a lovely experience! We were looking for a quiet break and ended up finding something way better than expected. Super clean everywhere, from the rooms to the bathrooms—seriously spotless. The location is unreal… fresh mountain air, peaceful surroundings, and the kind of view that makes you forget your phone exists. The team here is so kind and welcoming, always checking in to make sure we had what we needed. And Marios? Absolute legend. Friendly, thoughtful, and full of great local tips. We felt more like guests in someone’s beautiful home than at a hotel. Would come back in a heartbeat.

A big drawback of our room was that the window faced the road and it became very noisy with what sounded like heavy lorries at around 6.00 am.

Located in amongst pine trees and above a steep valley, this place emanates peace and tranquillity. The reception area is filled with the sound of bird-song and gentle music (a recording) and the staff are all softly spoken and so very helpful and attentive. The rooms, which are very modern and beautifully appointed, are located outside of the reception area in a two storey building with external access doors. Breakfast was delicious (the usual cheese, meat, eggs and fruit) and there were walks to a monastery, the local church, a scenic dam and a large supermarket with a great bakery next door.

There’s a lack of furniture in the room and the bathroom (but it may be fixed, as there’s enough space). There’s only one very thick blanket (for two of us); you might be able to ask for another, but we didn’t try. And all the voices from the neighboring room can be heard, which I don’t think can be fixed and could completely ruin the experience — and this is why I can't rate this hotel higher.

The staff is very friendly and always ready to help. The view is very picturesque. Overall, it’s quiet — a river murmurs far below, birds sing, and the air is perfectly clean. The breakfast is nice (as long as you don’t mind eating the same thing every morning). The building is close to the road, so traffic noise can be heard, which didn’t bother us but is good to know. The location is perfect, nearly in the center of the island, with lots of mountain trails within a half-hour drive. There are enough outlets in the room,

There was no food in evening except pizza. There are plans to change this. The waitress’s lack of English made communication a little difficult, but we got there!

The owner, Marios was v friendly and the hotel was clearly a labour of love: the bathrooms were refurbished, elegant, had glass door to shower (not yucky, plastic curtain), plenty of hot water and good power, the 5ft bed was extremely comfortable and the pillows new. Recommend upstairs room, with Mountain View and balcony. The soft, gentle background music felt like entering a spa! Adults only was a plus. The night lights around the building were so peaceful.

The only problem we had was the sewage smell in the bathroom when we arrived but we solved it by opening the window and after a few uses of the sink and shower the smell was gone (pretty much by the next morning).

This isn't a fancy or luxury place so the price may seem high and could be disappointing if that's what you're looking for. It would be nice if there were more toiletries offered - there was only a dispenser for soap and it was hard to get more than a little bit to come out. We had to run the air conditioning in addition to the radiators in order to get the room warm enough and it was a little loud and dry. But, it was also 2 degrees during our stay and I think if it was warmer, the heaters would have been more than enough. We didn't like that the outtake fan in the shower is connected to the light switch so it pulls out all the hot air when you shower - not pleasant when it's so cold.

We had a great stay. The hotel is lovely, peaceful, and had everything we needed. It was in a quiet area but still very close to everything we wanted to do. It was surprising that there were so many attractions within a 20 minute drive. Even though the hotel was full on one of the nights of our stay, it was still very quiet. We heard people closing their doors but no other noise from the other guests. The staff (especially Asta) was excellent and helped us with everything we needed. Breakfast was simple and delicious. The view was gorgeous. Everything was sparkling clean and new. We had a balcony in our room but it was too cold to sit out there, but in warmer weather it would probably be a really nice place to sit.

Can't fault anything

A fabulous hotel in the mountains within easy location for platres, Kakopetria etc. Great bakery and supermarket 2 mins away. Marios was a great host and made us feel very welcome. The room [suite] was perfect, warm, spacious and sparkling clean with complimentary wine and plenty of tea and coffee. So quiet and peaceful. A wood fire for us to sit by in the evenings and a pool table. Traditional breakfast was delicious.
