    “We very much liked the direct view on the lake and easy access to the property. Everything worked as it should be and we did not miss anything! We also appreciated the communication tool the hosts provided to inform us about extras and to ask questions or whatever if wanted. In winter the balcony was not the place to be but it looked great to sit on in summer time. From the apartment you can easily walk out for a shorter or longer hike for which the provided map was also very helpful.”

    “This place had it all. The apartment itself was clean, very well equipped and very comfortable. Loved the little touches such as the welcoming board, coffee / tea making provisions and the umbrellas for use if needed. There is a dedicated parking spot outside the property and a lovely terrace outside which would be lovely in warmer weather. The host Hendrk was friendly, helpful and lives onsite if needed. The location is fantastic, set in a little village on the Möhnesee and all the facilities and activities that has to offer in summer, such as sailing, canoeing, and lots of walks. Being winter when we visited it was very quiet but imagine in summer get very busy. It is only 10 mins drive from Soest, a beautiful medieval town. Not that it affected us but there are about 10 steps up to property, so somebody with mobility issues may have a problem. Would not hesitate to recommend to family and friends if heading that way and would definitely stay again ourselves.”

    “Helmut was very welcoming, despite us speaking very little German, he kindly pushed through the language barrier to take us through the apartment. The flat was perfectly located near the Mohne Dam ( a view of which can be seen from the dining room and lounge), quiet but on the main C4 bus route into Soest, during the All Saints Fair Celebrations. The Mahl pub up the hill near the Dam was a fantastic Turkish grill a great beer.”
