The cleaning staff knocked twice before the check out time at 11AM. Also, the shared bathroom was not super clean, and at one point there was no toilet paper (it had ran out) but I had no issues with the shared bathroom.

Location is incredible right downtown Passau in the historic center.

There are only 2 toilets between the 6 rooms so it can get busy in the mornings and evenings if you have a tight schedule. The kitchen was well equipped but similarly only really usable by one group at a time.

Great central location and the rooms are beautifully renovated with good amounts of space.

It was not completely clean. A small table in the room had rests of something like tomato sauce all over. And unfortunately one of the towels that was provided was dirty.

No elevator, the entrance is on the 2nd floor where you leave your shoes and you have to carry your luggage up another stair. The wifi was functioning well, but it was not the network with the password indicated in the rooms, but an open free network, which left me wondering about the level of its security. The curtains do not cut off the light adequately after sunrise.

Very good location in the heart of the old city, you have access to many cafes, restaurants, the shopping centre, numerous lanes, monuments and nature to walk and enjoy. Comfortable bed, spacey quiet room, nice view to the castle across the river. Good temperature. Spacey bathroom and kitchen and a comfortable shared living room with a billard. A generally beautiful old building nicely renovated. Uncomplicated check in/out.

It was very cold in the room and no heating. Fortunately there were two blankets for each of us though. No noise isolation - we could hear every word from the rooms nearby.

The location couldn't be better! Right next to the Dom (Cathedral) and the Christmas market, but in the night it was very quiet. Fast check-in. Overall nice looking facility

Our room had rubbish in it and smelt like feet, the floor in our room and throughout the hostel needs a deeper clean, there was dust and bits everywhere. Only accessible for able bodies. Coffee machine didn’t work.

Calm for a hostel. Nice layout. Big bed which was super soft (some will love some won’t). Not many rooms so we didn’t really cross paths with other guests. The two bathrooms were nice

Six bedrooms shared 2 bathrooms. Owner of apartment made checking in confusing. Keys not organized well. Spent over an hour to figure out rooms since another person had booked the same kind of room and there was only one double room key available.

Check in was not so great and communication with host was not so easy for emergency. There were some people sleeping on the coach outside the rooms that did not leave a good impression.

confusing check in instructions and no one responds to emails or phone calls for help after hours. we arrived around midnight and had very hard time checking in. after a long and tiring journey, all we wanted was rest. instead, we ended up solving puzzles for an hour and seeking help from strangers on the street.

good location, clean, comfortable, washer and dryer is a plus. accommodating host, when you are able to get a hold of him.

when we arrived we didn’t know which was our room because there were 2 keys in the lock box . when I booked I had asked how would I know which room was ours as I saw others had been unclear, reply didn’t help

Need to install an elevator. I'm a senior citizen and the 60+ stairs with a suitcase were horrible. The rooms should have at least a sink for washing, brushing teeth and grooming. Daily showers are not necessary. This was an inconvenience. The electric hot water kettle was caked with kalk/calcium. It leaves the water with a film layer on top of coffee/tea.
