I forgot what it was, but something was broken in the room, I think the sink plug didn't undo, so it was full of nasty toothpaste water for a long time. I let the staff know.

A&O is a great service, as everything is standardised from location to location. You know what to expect.

The room where I stayed was in one floor below the ground floor & I couldn't find a lift, so I had to carry my suitcase up & down.

The female dorm that I stayed in was really clean and comfortable, with ensuite toilet & shower, and it didn't cost me much. The hostel was centrally located, just a few steps away from a tram stop.

Minor detail but the lobby area and other shared spaces of the hostel will need to be cleaned more often to maintain the same quality as what I found in the rooms since the lobby is typically accessed by more people and in use more often.

I did not stay at this hostel for long and cannot speak for every room at A&O, HOWEVER, the room that I slept in..... was CLEAN and COMFORTABLE. I slept well (despite having had to wake up early for a flight); my bed was comfortable and the sheets were crispy clean. The bathroom and toilet were very well cleaned as well with shower gel and hair dryer provided (you had to pay for towels for anyone who needs to know). The room also had hangers, a table and mini chairs. The staff were able to put me in an all-female room, even though I missed indicating that in my booking. Overall, great experience :) I did not have breakfast and cannot speak about the food, but I like that the hostel provided easy access to the train and there were restaurant options within walking distance.

Okay-isch option to stay for a night. Located really close to the U-Bahn station, but not in a comfortable walking distance to city centre. Rooms are small and you don’t have much space to move there. But it’s okay. Breakfast is really affordable and very good for its price. Has a nice zone to chill/work or study on the ground floor. Hotel is perfekt for students or if you stay for a night and need space to work

We could not sleep at all. There were loud noises coming from other people walking and talking very loud even after 10. PM. There was continuous slamming of the doors and no one cared to tell others to be more careful. If the noise wasn't that bad, we would go there again.

Great location, the room was clean and had the most important facilities. The staff was friendly and ready to help.

I had to put my own linen which was annoying as I came from a long trip. It would be good if they make the bed prior to our arrival.

Everything was clean and tidy. The toilets and bathrooms were very clean. There are many activities in the common area like billiards, library and playground for kids.

The beds were on two floors and they made noise and there was no closet to put my things in a safe place.

The behavior of the hotel staff was very good. Access to the city center by train and metro is very easy.There were supermarkets and restaurants around the hotel.

i had chosen a 6 bed dorm. unfortunately when I got to the room the two bunks were already occupied by other ladies. I had to share a single bed which was attached to another single bed unfortunately the lady in the next bed didn't let me finish my sleep she also had a problem with me using my mobile

the location was in a very good spot. I was very pleased with the staff. Everything I asked for was immediately available. the breakfast was a rich buffet and we were all pleased. the rooms were fully equipped and with quite comfortable beds

Can hear sounds form others rooms and people talk in the street. That’s we can’t control the sound but they can quite after 10pm if they think people want sleep and tomorrow need to wake up early go to University or work. But they didn’t.

Cheaper price, good value for students like us. Near to the train and easy to find food!

It was a dorm and one guy was snoring a lot, so it is a matter of luck but that's the case for every shared room

I stayed only for a night to catch an early flight. I came very late only to sleep, so I can't comment much on the details, but the location was good, wifi was fast, check in/out was smooth, personell was very friendly. There were lots of things going on in the lobby when I arrived - looked lively. Room was fine and for the price it had all I needed.

Not for the family. Overall the first floor the smell of smoke. Drinking and smoking people in the lobby.

Cheap. Near the tram station. Free parking on the street in the weekend.
