Comfy bed, clean sheets. It was important for me to leave my luggage somewhere safe, locked, but the only place was the "Valuables" locker, which, the small one, in which i couldnt fit a very small luggage, costs 4 euros/24h, and the big one, that costs 6 euros/24h. I wish they could provide a system to lock valuables in the room, and not in the -1 floor. Also it means that you need to pay every time you open the locker and close it again, which is quite dumb. There is a luggage storage room, which is a room underground that everyone with a room keycard has access to, and no liability for whatever gets stolen there (hence the valuables lockers)

The room is good, but I stayed just for one night, I couldn’t stay longer cause I feel this Hostel was a mess. There’s few seats close to the reception and it was full, all the time people coming in and going out, making check in, smoking, drinking, making coffee, everything in a small area. I didn’t find a place to relax. Location is a bit far from city centre, but you can take a Tram in front.

Plus: Good location, walkable distance to the city center. Big enough, toilet and room clean and well developed. Minus: Cleaning staff took all my belongings from the locker and put it in a trash bag on the reception, even I wrote in German that I am staying here and not to open and clean the locker. When I saw that the locker is empty, I asked the reception why it was done - thay said that cleaners even don’t speak German in the heart of Germany! Big, big minus for this. Also, strange people speaking romanian language were in the kitchen, opened a fridge and took some bread and other stuff from others. They weren’t hostel guest. Security seems to be the main weakness.

Very kind and helpful staff. The only thing is that you need to wait a lot in the line to reach them. Only one person for reception for this huge hostel seems not enough.

There is only one kitchen in the basement for this big building with a huge number of rooms is not enough. Unfortunately there are not sufficient cooking facilities and kitchenette. There is only one fridge for lots of people.

They already have a late check in (3 pm) and early check out (10 am) which I am okay with. But I was extremely disappointed that the housekeeping staff burged into the room an hour earlier than the check out to turn the place upside (cleaning and vacuuming) with people either sleeping or resting to check out around 10 am. It felt like they are forcing guests to check out early. The guy who was sleeping in the top bunk bed above me, went to have breakfast while his stuff and luggage was thrown to a corner of the room because housekeeping was desperate the clear his bed an hour earlier.

I liked that it is located in a good location to explore Munich conveniently.

A minor note: the hostel is a bit farther from the city centre on foot. However, the tram station is conveniently located just across the road, offering excellent connectivity, so travelling to and from the hostel is hassle-free.

The room was spotless, the check-in process was seamless, the staff were friendly, and the breakfast was enjoyable.

I stayed 3 nights and made reservations separately. Hence, each night, I stayed in a new dorm room. On the 5th floor, the room was terribly smelly and couldn't even breathe. The clothes, jackets, and even the back pack absorbed that smell, and the first thing I did once I was back was to wash all these together. It was that bad. House keeper should let these know for the management so they can attend it the problem. The Indian man and the girl at the reception were not really customer service oriented. They act like they figured out everything about everyone.. It's a massive establishment, and all sorts of budget travellers will be there. So don't expect clam and quite stay.

Super close to the Munich Central station and metro connection to the main station is just in front of the hostel. Clean bedding , you can collect it from the reception and get your own bed ready. Beds are comfortable. I stayed in the middle of March, so it's super affordable considering the price and its value for money.
