While I did like the 24 hour bar where coffee, tea and wine was available, I still wished our room had a tea kettle in it :)

Great location. Easy to reach many places on foot, including spa, market square, bike rentals, and tram to national park. We enjoyed the clean, comfortable and quiet rooms and breakfast selections.

How often do you book a small apartment with it's own private, secluded garden and patio at a hotel? Well, Albergo-Toscana offers just that - and it's as luxurious as it sounds. The annex was the perfect place to return to after walking the Malerweg trail being able to relax in the garden and prepare a homemade meal in the small kitchen. And if you ever dreamt of showering inside with the feeling of almost being outside in the lush greens, then you've found your place.

I did miss being able to make a cup of tea in the room we stayed - but you can go downstairs in the cosy hotel living room and buy one 24/7.

Albergo-Toscana was the perfect point of departure as a one-location hotel for walking the Malerweg trail. Breakfast has everything you could dream of, and almost all of it homemade. The hotel is close to the city center, but staying there is calm and relaxing. All of Albergo-Toscana radiates charm, quality and an excellent cleaning standard. And not to be forgotten! The beds are just perfect.

If you want to open windows at night, the only rooms recommended are the ones facing the back garden due to a busy road outside. Bring your own internet - we could not connect to the hotel WiFi in our room on 2nd floor, despite several attempts (- the lack of WiFi is the only reason to give this place an overall rating of 8.0 instead of 9.0 or over!)

Nice historic building conveniently situated close to the town centre, with clean and comfortable rooms. Convenient off-street parking next to the hotel. Beer and wine by the glass (or whole bottles) available 24/7 from the drinks machine in the dining room.

I loved the interior design of the entire hotel and the room: warm and mediterranean, yet minimalistic, low-key and classy, without going overboard with decorations and ending up kitchy. I absolutely loved the bed sheets! They felt super nice on the skin. The breakfast was very tasty. I liked how the kitchen personnel took personal care of each guest, offering them coffee and eggs up to their preferences. And the cat at the reception is absolutely adorable!

A lovely hotel in a beautifully renovated building. The rooms are spacious, fresh, clean, and well appointed. Very friendly and helpful staff. The location is ideal; right across the road from the spa and close to shops, restaurants and bars. It is 10 mins walk to the bus station which is convenient if you are walking the Malerweg. We definitely recommend and would stay here again.

The only thing not to like was the internet. I could barely download my newspaper and streaming any content was impossible. The last time I had this experience was years ago.

Nicely decorated with a very comfortable room and a good bed. Breakfast was very complete and it was a good mix of healthy local items and freshly made eggs.

Definitely the perfect stay for a relaxing getaway. The interior of the room was gorgeous: from the wallpaper to the peacock chair. Very comfortable bed and super quiet room where the only noise was the birds chirping. The team has been helpful and kind and provided useful tips. A Plus for the location right in from the popular thermal spa so you can easily get from the pool to your room.

Great hotel near the centrum of Bad Schandau. The staff speaks germen and sometimes also czech. Great location for if you would like hiking in near national park.

Would have liked a fridge.. not a huge issue tho my husband's medication should ideally be kept refrigerated. The lack of jug or coffee machine in the room was more frustrating as coffee or tea had to be paid for if you wanted either. Everything else was fine

The proximity to the street could be problematic for some due to the noise..we were totally beat so it didn’t bother us too much…the 1030 checkout may also be a tad early for some as well…but all in all, we would 10/10 stay here again!!!!!

What a lovely stay we had for my husband‘s birthday…the owner was accommodating and friendly, room size totally adequate for two, lovely little balcony, the bed/linens were very comfortable, the location was very close to everything, breakfast was high-quality, wine/beer/drink selection-partially on an honor system basis was very nice, on-site parking and just generally a feel-good kind of place!!!
