The breakfast for basic rooms was in a form of buffet, but when you book apartments for more people, you'll be given very poor, sad looking plate with hardly one portion for all the guests.

We had difficulty gaining entry due to our lack of speaking German ( it took 3 phone calls before I could stop the person hanging up). We were sent an email earlier that day regarding how to gain entry but we were driving and I do not check emails every hour. We thought we had upgraded the room but when I sent an email to query this I received no response. Thus maybe some improvements on communication would help.

The location was good, parking was available and the breakfast was excellent The room was very small but was described as a budget room. If we ever stayed again I would book a larger room

The room was a little smaller than expected so was not so comfortable for two. But anyway it was just to sleep for the night.

Arrived a little late after the reception closed. Contacted the given phone number. Although they did not speak much English, I was really happy that they patiently helped me to get the keys to the room from the locker outside.

Not got sufficient information for getting the key. Luckily we got help from a unknown lady, otherwise we didn’t know what we could do and maybe stay outside whole night. The staff not speak English and difficult for communication.

The apartment is big, full equipped and very convenient. Close to the city center. Breakfast is good. The environment of the apartment is very nice.

Communication with hosts was difficult as someone is only onsite in the mornings, meaning a delay to address things. The first night we were not provided with the toddler cot we requested. The apartment was only serviced and towels replaced on one day of our 4 night stay but the helpful staff member implied someone had been meant to do it daily. Also our room had an issue with flying ants most evenings so we seriously considered checking out early. Dietary requirements for breakfast were also forgotten the second morning so we realised you have to give daily reminders. As well as communication being difficult between us and hosts, the issues we experienced suggest staff don't communicate well with each other. It would be helpful to have someone there all the time.

The apartment was spacious and breakfast was good (however you do need to remind the hotel of any dietary requirements daily). Wernigerode is lovely.

I called them in advance if they could store our luggage before we checked in and after we checked out. The answer from their side is absolutely yes, however, they didn't accept taking care of our suitcases and they insisted they would leave in the afternoon. I'm not upset that they couldn't look after the luggage, instead, if they had told us at the beginning that it didn't work we would have had other solutions. It's not very easy to communicate with them face to face because you can't find them except at breakfast time.

Both price and availability are great. We got one room even though the demand was crazy during the Christmas holiday. We booked a basic triple room for one night. I will recommend it if you would like to have a trip with friends. The procedure of check-in and check-out is pretty easy. And don't forget to give your arrival time to staff because the service time is not 24/7. Food was included and nice. Cannot expect more!
