Staff unlocked my door for cleaning without knocking. Considering the door opens straight into toilet, I am glad I was not doing anything at that time.

Self checkin machine is a breeze. It's 3 minutes walk from a bus stop that takes you to S Bahn in one stop. You can just walk 13 minutes to that S bahn anyway. That S bahn takes you to city centre in 5 stops. So I really like the location. Staff is friendly and speaks good english and german. I did not get their breakfast. Room was kept clean.

Arcade Hotel & Hostel is a good choice for shorter stays and with a / or very fair price. The hotel is OK. Breakfast is very plentiful and can be recommended The staff is very friendly and helpful. I can absolutely recommend Arcade Hotel & Hostel. Best regards Jorn / Denmark

The walls between the rooms felt quite thin. That's my only real complaint

The rooms and check-in system are exactly as advertised. I had no trouble at all with getting my keys, no one from the staff bothered me in my room. Check-out by 11 was also very easy.

The entrance straight-up being the bathroom was an odd choice but not necessarily a bad thing. I didn't really have any complaints about this budget stay, it met my expectations and I was happy. A great way to experience the culture of Hamburg on a budget.

The room was adorable and easy to sleep in because it was little and secure-feeling. The ambience was clean and light, quaint and sweet, everything I like to feel when I'm going to sleep in a new city. I giggled a bit when the key fell out of the locker thingy when I did the automated check-in.

There was no toilet in our room despite having a sink and a shower. The walk from the train station was a bit long, and the hostel is not located very close to the main part of Hamburg.

I enjoyed having a private room for a low price. Check-in was very easy. The room was clean and had plenty of space.

Perhaps not the thickest walls... and a little bit funny that you first stepin to the bathroom whilst entering the room. But worked good as an extra isolation from people walking in the corridor thought. Parkingspace was quite difficult to find, but we found one in the neighbourhood eventually and could walk x minutes back to the hostel.

Easy checkin, easy to find on google maps. Nice and clean rooms. Comfy bed.

Had a room for two, two single beds, room was overall good, but there was only one chair (friend had to sit in a bed). Place is listed for "sustainable properties" but a gel for body-hair wash from refillable bottle at the shower and sink was lacking. Price not suitable for this place (more like a 30€ for night, not a 52€ (with booking mobile discount)).

Easy to get a room key from automatic machine if check-in is after receptionists working hours.

This is the 2nd time I stayed here, and everything was just as good as before. I found a clean, nicely decorated room with a pleasant bed and shower again and the staff did their best to make me feel welcome. Breakfast with all the basics was served in a pretty, tranquil room. The value for money was great and if you want to stay in this part of Hamburg, this is a good choice.

On arrival on a Sunday, I found no soap in the room. As all the local shops were shut, the only option was to buy an expensive product in the nearby petrol station.

Easy check-in, staff was very friendly and helpful. Clean, nice room with comfortable bed and good shower. Near useful transport connections and very good value for money. The breakfast was tasty and served in an attractive space.
