Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The room was a bit noisy from the street, but improved later. The single room is a bit small, but ok for one night.
The front desk employee was very friendly and personally opened the parking garage for me when I arrived. The breakfast was attended well and the coffee machine was fixed immediately when there was a problem. I like that there is no need for check-out at this hotel.

The coffee machine was out of order, but a note pointed to one in the back. Only a minor inconvenience.
I liked the very efficient check-in experience and that the hotel garage has ample sized parking spaces. The bed was comfortable, and the shower had a strong pressure. The breakfast was simple but delicious bread. There is no need to check out in this hotel so it saves time.

Staff couldn’t solve some questions , since it seem to be not prepared , the person that was on the desk mentioned , he didn’t know because was there only the weekends, anything major just a room for improvement better preparation

The bathroom was more of a wet cell than a real bathroom. No real built in shower, just a shower head and a curtain hanging from the ceiling, so the floor of the whole bathroom would inevitably get wet. The provided floor wiper didn't help with the "wet cell" feeling... And a leaking sink wasn't helping neither.
The hotel is perfectly located right next to the very city centre and close to a public parking garage. Simple but quite spacious room. Friendly staff.

Not a lot to do beside spend time in your room, there did not seem to be a bar/lounge in the lobby to relax.
The location was absolutely perfect for visiting the Aachen Christmas market, which was located in the middle of the city center! Checking in using the machine made things very fast and easy!

Having no kettle in the room was a bit of a miss. I also felt that the carpets needed a good vacuuming.
The location is perfect with a bus station just around the corner and the city centre just a short walk away. The rooms are well laid out and generally very clean, have good heating and a nice warm shower.

Online check in does not fully work if you have already paid. No personal touch. Help yourself facility.
Location very close to Bus Hof if coming with bus from train station. Also very close to Christmas Market and shops in the area. Perfect to take busses to Maastricht and Monschau, because of Bus Hof nearby.

The breakfast was OK but not complete. No scrambled eggs, bacon and/or sausages. There was no pride in the breakfast. Meaning; There was no effort put into it. Tourist like a bit of personality in the hotel, a soft touch of identity

Electric socket on only one side of the bed.
Good location close to city centre with underground car park accessed via car lift. Comfortable and stylish room with delicious buffet breakfast. Staff really helpful with directions to parking while en route and stowing bags prior to check-in. Friendly and courteous service.
