Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content

- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

Minor thing, but the toilet in our room didn't have a ventilation system to get rid of the steam from the shower.
The hotel was very clean and nice. Also in a good location with bus connection to both Königsee and Berchtesgaden (although you need to be aware that the busses stop relatively early). The staff was also extremely nice and always helpful.

There was some kind of miscommunication, as our room had towels all along the windows/door to the balcony. They were all wet. We went back and asked at reception but she didn't know what we were talking about. They must have cleaned the drapes and the towels were placed underneath to catch any further water that dripped while they dried. We really wanted to use the balcony, but since we were only there one night we just skipped it since we didn't want to disturb whatever was going on with the drapes. She graciously offered to move us to a different room but we declined since it was only one night.
Lady at reception was very kind and spoke great English. We booked last minute and she welcomed us graciously. We ate dinner at restaurant and it was good. Breakfast was very good.

Creaky bed, bedrooms need a little upgrade.
Perfect location, comfortable parking, delicious breakfast, restaurant food was great, sauna and swimming pool were nice. staff were nice and professional.

Lots of smokers and it seem that whenever you left a window open, you had second hand smoke flowing into the room. No air conditioning, so you had to leave windows open.
Plenty of parking, but also has a bus stop just across the street. The pool is much bigger and nicer in real life than the pictures show. Our breakfast was included and it was a nice, but standard, continental European buffet. Dinner and drinks at the restaurant were excellent.

Parking is limited. Balcony was nice, however there was no view except the top of a garage. Not as shown on Booking site and was much further away from Konigsee than expected.

I never seen such an old and slow Elevator haha not even kidding. Not a problem, easy acess with the stairs.
I really enjoyed how spacious the room was! The easy parking for my car and breakfast were amazing. Nice dog friendly hotel!

After breakfast the restaurant closed down until evening diner, no way to get coffee or snacks apart from a drinks vending machine. Very disconnected.
Lovely location, well appointed, clean and tidy. Food was good quality and tasty.

A little tired, bathroom and decor could be modernised. Pool was a bit too cold and a few things were broken. Towels were clean but quite worn. Tables in the restaurant were too high for the chairs (only an issue for our 3 year old who is too big for a high chair).
Continental breakfast with a little extra. Room was a great size. Location was great with bus stop outside the door to Königsee. Most staff were very friendly.

Some of the restaurant staff need some happy pills! I know your busy but please try to look interested and a smile would help.
Good food, tea and coffee in room. Great parking (2 motorcycles in garage). Very helpfull at reception. Nice quiet rural location.

Balcony floor & chair is dusty
The owner is very friendly. The room is clean & comfy. Breakfast is nice & yummy. We spent our 2 nights happily.

Nice rooms, very friendly stuff, good location and great restaurant! Taking into consideration long weekend - price was good as well! If you travel this area - I highly recommend this place!

The breakfast no good. On Sunday, breakfast is between 8 to 10am. We get there 9am and they don’t have more deli meat or cheese, was gone, we ask the attendant but she said is no more. We paid for the breakfast so they have to have enough for everyone. Never again get breakfast there.
