The breakfast is apparently pretty expensive compared to other hotel buffets and to the cabin price but it looked delicious.

Epic experience with an awesome location, very quiet. Small, comfy room with awesome heater and window, even an own sink. You can use the breakfast room to relax, work, connect. Very nice staff (when they were there).

Checkin hours 3pm-6pm, gives you a small field to manouver, bit far away and badly connected, but obviously I checked that before.

Friendly staff, comfy beds, small but functional room, cleanliness- of all parts of property- if I ever be again in Dresden, I will strongly consider staying there again.

- The shipp has thin walls, so you can hear the other room and they can hear you...but the hostel offer things to put in your ears do Block the noise; - My room had a constant smell of something that was kept closed for many time and this adsorbed on my clothes, it is my only negative point;

Nice place, friendly staff, you may want to consider their breakfast if you wanna a substantial and practical meal before starting the day with eggs, ham, bacon, musli, fruit etc. But nothing super special, just a good option and pragmatic choice.

My cabin had no bathroom, and was a little Spartan: no wardrobe or desk, and just one not very comfortable chair. But the bunk bed was comfortable.

The location is great, within walking distance of the historic centre of Dresden, and very close to the Neustadt train station. And it's lovely to have ducks swimming by your window! Breakfast is superb too. And it's not cold at all.

The wc and the bath is common, if you stay near them there is more noise than the other rooms. Just it.

Not wide breakfast variety. There was no private shower in the room - only on the common hall. Therefore it made an impression of dormitory. The room is a little bit small and didn’t provide a whole wardrobe. In October it was rather chilly.

Worths its money, however you should be ready for weird room-cabin. The experience is unforgettable. Good for just layover.

The hotel needs renovation. The ceiling is low, so if you're a tall person, be prepared for hitting your head a lot :D The rooms are quite poorly insulated, so it may get cold at night.

The breakfast was good, the location is very convenient, a few min walk from the old town district.

Beds are not very comfy, but that's just preference. Fan was loud, even when on silent mode. May need maintenance. But had earplugs provided so not so bad.

Guy (Chris?) at reception is a legend, helped with storing our bags post check out as our train wasn't for another few hours, and a doll to chat with. Location is so lovely and convenient to walk into city. Sitting out on deck was so nice. Breakfast was very nice and good variety.

During the hours when the sun shines on the side of the room it gets very hot, the fan helps but I had to lie on the bed with a wet towel on me + the fan on the strongest setting to make it bearable. The ceiling is quite low, it's not suitable for people taller than 185 cm or more. If you are afraid of spiders this is not the hotel for you, they are everywhere. They hand out earplugs for a good reason - without them the stay is a nightmare. Especially when noisily and mannerless children running in the corridor screaming and stomping their feet on the wooden floor, there is no insulation and you hear people talking in the rooms, not recommended for misophones. I can't say that the tram station is near the boat, it's not far either, it was 15 minutes walking for me.. But if you don't like walking Dresden is not for you, it's a huge city, everything is so big and it's quite challenging for the city walkers.

It's my first time on a boat-hotel, it's a nice experience overall. The staff is one of the nicest, most helpful and efficient I have met in my travels, always with a smile on their face, good advice and a genuine willingness to help. Such good service-people! The public spaces are clean. The room was clean and pleasant.

It its a bit noisy, with people slamming doors all the time, but you get ear plugs for free. It's a little bit hot in the cabins downstairs, but you have a ventilator with silent setting so you can leave it open during the night

In summer, it can get a little hot. A ventilator is provided. The ceiling is not too tall; not ideal if you are over 185-190.

Sleeping on a boat! What's there not to like? The boat lies in a calm neighbourhood not far (10-15 minute walk) from Dresden Neustadt station. Friendly staff called us to ask at what time we would arrive, and as we were later than hoped left our keys in a box. Rooms are not big and really meant for sleeping. The shared shower gets hot enough.
