Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

United Arab EmiratesThis hotel was in a fantastic location - just a short stroll from the old town. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. The staff was friendly and efficient. There were plenty of breakfast options to choose from.

SwedenA little too fluffy pillows for my taste, so, no real complaints. :-)
Good room for the three of us and our two mid-sized dogs. Quiet at night and good breakfast buffet. We were lucky to get a parking spot on the same street. Very helpful staff, even as we didn’t arrive until around 20:30 (the reception close at 21:00). A good hotel very centrally located that we will return to the next time we’re in Nürnberg. Recommended!

HungaryUnfortunately we didn't have a pleasant experience in regards to the breakfast of our first day. The egg container was empty on the breakfast shelf. We notified a lady from staff that three of us would like to eat eggs, but the pot containing the eggs was empty. After a few minutes, another staff member arrived, and refilled the egg container. We took some, ate from it and finished our breakfast. About 15 minutes later the lady whom we first notified, arrived with a plate of omelette, which we didn't need at that point, since we were done with our breakfast. The misunderstanding stemmed from the issue that in our culture and language, there is no linguistic difference between "omelette" and "scrambled eggs" - we refer to both of these with one word (rántotta). Our language makes no distinction. This in itself would not have been a problem, since we were already full, but the lady was especially offended. She left and returned 2 minutes later with a piece of paper on which she wrote: "Scrambled egg". She put it on our table and began giving us a loud lecture in the quiet breakfast hall. We had to listen to her educating us on the different names of egg food, in an unacceptable tone. It was a very uncomfortable experience in front of the other guests. The next morning she asked us: "You won't be having omelette today, will you?" This type of behaviour is not acceptable in an pleasant hotel like this. Staff members should never put guests in such an uncomfortable situation. Very unfortunate, since other staff members were very kind. The bathroom of the single room was extremely small, the person sitting on the toilet can easily hit their head in the wall. Uncomfortable. The space inside the shower stall was extremely tight. The bed kept creaking. The location was fine, but unfortunately strange figures appear in the park of Wöhrder Wiese after dark.
The breakfast is very delicious, full with homemade delicacies. There's a great selection of cheese, ham, salami, and various types of bread and honey. The fruit salad was very fresh and of great quality. The room was clean, and the sound-proofing was very good. The metro was very close, the city is easily reachable with a short, beautiful stroll.

Location was good. Room was very nice but I didn’t realize that there was no air conditioning. When we opened the window, several large flies entered.

United KingdomMy personal bugbear - small bathroom towels. Also, we had paid extra for parking but staff seemed reluctant to let us leave the car for a couple of hours after checking out. We were leaving well before the next guests would be able to check in so didn’t see why this would be a problem, especially since they did not have a secure area to store luggage so we preferred to leave that in the car in the hotel parking space rather than a public car park which might not be so secure.
Great location about a ten minute walk from the Altstadt. Beautiful old building with spacious rooms and original features. God breakfast choices. There was a fan in the room which was useful as it was so warm during our visit.

United KingdomThe bedsheets were “noisy” but that’s just being very picky. They were comfortable and clean whilst obviously good quality. We happened to pick a date when there was some kind of religious march going on in the town, so it was absolutely heaving. The reception did not tell us about this when offering recommendations to us for the evening.
What a lovely place. Friendly staff, helpful and cheerful. Parking on the street but we found space. Be careful not to park in wrong side of hotel or you will be charged. Space to park the car to unload and check in, then reception will tell you which side to go. Bright lobby. Various leaflets and mad available. Room 41: Lift to 4th floor. Large, spacious with opening windows. Good size bathroom. Hairdryer and tea/coffee facilities but not milk. Well stocked minibar with sensible prices. More available at lobby if needed. Towels and slippers provided along with shower gel. Good shower. Lovely view over the tree lined river and birds singing. Reception gave us recommendations for good and drinks in the city with a map which was very useful. Breakfast was in a large room off the lobby. Best spread we had on our whole trip. Homemade cakes, jams, etc., cereals, cheese, meats, etc. Lots of teas and coffee available. Could order fried eggs or omelette which looked good from others, but we didn’t. Pay for minibar on checkout; you just tell them what you had. Definitely recommend.

United StatesThe parking garage we used was a little further away. In the beautiful weather we had, the walk was no problem, but in bad weather it would have been a challenge.
The breakfast was excellent with many delicious options. No matter what my question was, the staff politely provided very helpful information, including tips like how to get under the busy street nearby by using the U-Bahn station tunnel. We really enjoyed the location: just outside the main wall, so it was quiet, but close enough to be in the old city in a couple minutes.

Located at the river side, very peaceful with free parking in front of the house and wake up by birds-singing :-).
