Very unpleasant cancel policy and when I warned to talk about it took them almost 2 days to reply and I when I complained about the very poor communication, they responded after 9 days ..spend a 30 euro more nite and stay in other hotel ..never stay here..unless u like camping in small place with poor bed and poor wifi

There was no mention in the description that the accommodation is surrounded by multiple tennis courts (only volleyball and a climbing gym). Every night until 1030/11pm people were playing tennis which is very loud and kind of ironic since the accommodation rule is that you need to be quiet as a guest from 10pm so people can sleep. People start playing again from 8am. While the showers were clean, the water only stays on for about 30secs so you have to continuously press the button to keep the water on and it is a very weak pressure.

The location was great, very close to public transport and was easy to walk to every part of the city. The toilets and showers were clean.

The rooms were much smaller than we though. Very tight for 3-4 people if you have more than a backpack. The rooms also didn't have AC and the fan provided was damaged. We got a lot of bug bites. It was also easy to drag sand into the room.

The facility was very cool with lots of nearby places to socialize. The bathrooms were always clean and the single stall showers were a nice touch. Great location and great staff.

After 10pm it was noisy enough. The room was too small to to walk around. The bunk bed was almost touching the ceiling and the stairs for the upper bed felt unsafe .

It is nearby hbf and public transport was convenient. Staffs were friendly. Toilets were clean enough.

Loved everything. A swimming pool would have been nice ( was 33 degrees!) ;-)

Amazing stay 2 nights in Berlin. Travelling with teenage son. He loved the cool beach relaxed vibe. The location is super central, S Bahn Nordbahnhof is just next door, as is the Wall Monument, which was amazing and impressive. The cubes are small but sufficient ( and for the price adequate) . Wash facilities are near by and very clean. The bar at the volley ball courts is very nice, nice food and safe and relaxed atmosphere. It's not too loud and the sleeping cubes are located in a way that you can sleep soundly despite the place being busy and popular with the locals.

Firstly the room was way too small, we booked the room of 4 being 3 and we couldn't even change our clothes both at the same time in that tiny space. Thank god we had a spare bed to leave our luggage. Also about the beds in one of the top ones you could feel the wooden planks when laying down. About the cleaning services they clean at different hours and you can never decide what bathroom to use trying to see which one is cleaner. The soap dispenser is most of the time off and one of the days there was blood in a bathroom for an entire day. A part from this about the facilities they make it look like the beach is connected and you can have a nice time but that is not even close to the truth, the "beach part" was not even part from the hostel so people from outside would come to play and you could order something at the bar and watch them play. They also dont let you eat food from outside in the bar and in the room you dont have space for nothing.

The location was pretty convenient nearby the metro station and some supermarkets and pubs.

The place doesn’t look anything like what they have shared here. You’re looking at staying in a tiny metal box with zero air circulation that is crammed full of beds with no room for anything else.

We disliked it so much that we left as soon as we finally got shown the actual room so.. the pictures? We liked the pictures.

The showers you kept having to push to get the water going Only 3 female toilets There is nothing about the volume of the event venue/ club opposite. The noise kept us awake for most of the first two nights. When we checked in, we weren’t offered a double bed as a couple yet a single male was offered it straight away upon arrival 2 days later. No water supply for bottles. Sinks had to be used yet there wasn’t certainty that it was drinking water Staff weren’t particularly friendly

Private rooms, fan in the room, a space above bed to store luggage. Quite small but it is what you pay for. The staff were very nice and informative. Lively bar and volleyball on the property.

We arrived late so there was no reception. Accomodation was nothing as projected online. Was literally a 4x4 box with no aircon as advertised only heating, completely unacceptable as it was 30 degrees everyday in Germany when we were there. The 2 beds were shoved so close together we couldn’t even have our suitcases in the room let alone open the window. In those conditions our thermostat read 34 degrees, just ridiculous. The “hot box” itself was right opposite the men’s toilets and showers too so opening the door for air wasn’t even an option as we are 2 females in our 20’s we were not comfortable doing that. I tried to reason with the reception the nest morning but it was no use, he completely disregarded everything I was saying, meaning we were forced to switch accommodation. Considering the price too this was an absolute joke, would not recommend to any travellers staying in Berlin.

It’s is exactly as it’s advertised a small room that’s ideal for a short stay in an excellent location. The facility is nice and being able to watch people play volleyball is a bonus. Happily stay here again in the future.
