Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

GreeceThe breakfast is quite poor (just bread, cheese, ham, yoghurt, cereals, apple, coffee, milk), it needs to be improved quite a bit.

SwitzerlandI was disappointed by the fact that almost no one is around in the hotel. There is no check in, and the employees all leave in the afternoon. Also, a big disadvantage is that you cannot leave the luggage there as they do not offer storage.
The location is perfect with the metro station „Stiglmaier Platz“ being 1 minute away from the hotel. Also, the room was small but it was totally fine for two nights and we even got a ventilator! The breakfast was included, very basic but totally fine.

SerbiaThe sink in the bathroom was cracked (in a way that was only affecting the aesthetics and not it's functionality, but still not great) and there was no preinstalled cover for the drain, it was just a gaping hole, so I was constantly afraid to loose something there.
The beds were very comfortable, temperature and pressure of the water was nice

Hong KongThe website mentioned that we can deposit the luggage. I also confirmed this message with staff by online. However in check out day the staff said it is not possible for keeping the luggage in frontdesk and finally we need to storage the luggage in Central station's locker.

FinlandThere was no staff around usually and when someone was around, they were unresponsive. I had received prior confirmation that check in at 2 pm would be ok, but there was a hassle about that and no-one to ask. I had to call someone who had really bad connection on their side and it was just difficult. The breakfast is not buffet but at the cafe downstairs: you choose one portion (croissant or bread with cheese, muesli) and a coffee, latter was good. However, I was late one morning because it took about 40 min for breakfast to be served since they served paying customers first. On sundays the cafe is closed so there was something downstairs but the quality of it was mediocre, the photos of the breakfast here are very misleading (on Sunday there was muesli and bread with nutella or cheese/ham). No options for vegans (asked about vegetarian options one week before but no answer, there were dairy products available so that was okay). We stayed one week and left the please clean -sign on the door repeatedly but it wasn't evident the room would have been cleaned properly, no towels were changed for example. The bathroom was new, but overall cleanliness was below standards (e.g. filthy below bed). There was no wardrobe, no table, only one chair, so storage with two people was difficult. Pillows were bad.
Air conditioning worked and room was very quiet. Location was nice, U-bahn stop very close. The hotel was in the backyard of an apartment building, so there was no noise from the street (neighborhood was very quiet though).

CanadaInternet was not available to us with the credentials (password) provided.
The room was tiny, but comfortable for the short stay that we needed. It was well equipped with great quality linens and a wonderful window we could open fully for fresh air. The instructions for how to find the key and access the hotel were very clear....even when arriving very late at night. We were grateful for the elevator, having schlepped our bags some distance through the rain. A light breakfast of yogurt and fruit was available at 7AM before we needed to rush off to the airport.

GermanyBreakfast was very poor. I don't know if it was due to the Easter time or what, but I've been to a fair amount of other places, much cheaper ones, and I've learned that it doesn't take a lot of effort to provide a good breakfast.
Clean and in a good location. Just 1.3km walking distance from the train station. Easy self check in and i'd say price was reasonable.
