The music from the restaurant downstairs it's a bit too loud and can carry inside. There was also a noice of something like a pump starting and stopping, might be from the river. Otherwise everything else was good.

The room was big, clean and well equipped. You had water and coffee, so you could start your day right away. The view of the river from the balcony is amazing, the location of the hotel makes it easier to see the city center easily.

We were not aware during booking that this hotel has no reception and we had to do a self check-in on arrival. The hotel also has no elevator and the stairs are quite narrow, so if you have a big and heavy luggage it will not be easy. There was also no additional information on where and how we can store our luggage after check-out on the last day. We called a number but the person who picked up could not give us any answers and gave us an email to write to (thankfully the reply was immediate). We tried to get a reservation at the restaurant for breakfast one morning but the staff was very unfriendly and told us they were already fully booked. Some consideration should have been made for hotel guests.

The location was very central and 2mins away from the Christkindlmarkt. Everything is within walking distance and there are many food options available. The room was also very modern and looks to be newly renovated.

We had to wait quite long (and waste a lot of water) to get hot water, probably caused by pressure and fact our room was in 4th floor. An annoying sound made by some machine in the attic - this would be no-go for someone who requires silence to fall asleep.

Great location. just few minutes walk from main square. The best breakfast we've ever had. Amazing view from the room. Good espresso on the room.

There were people out on the street throughout the night till morning. Although it didn’t bother me at all, sensitive people might wanna take it into consideration.

The hotel is right above a busy bar/restaurant, so if the weather is good and people are seating outside on the terrace, it can be very noisy until late in the evening.

The noise was coming from the street. Didn't really like the e-check-in process: it was not completely clear, instructions were poor. Didn't like the breakfast at the restaurant: unfriendly staff, no buffet.

it says the room has river view, but it is difficult to see the river and that is not very impressing

I had dust allergy in the number. So it could have been cleaner. On weekend it was noisy, so wasn't able to open the window and air conditioner was the only possible way to get some air.

There is no elevator - so you should be aware of this if you have heavy items. Also since it is in the middle of the city it can be quite noisy also at night

Location in the heart of the old city, just a delight! To paid parking, there are several of them at the same price of 20 euros for 24 hours, 200 meters from them. The owner was not even seen, there are instructions for programming the key in the lobby.

The on-line check-in process could be made easier....received several notification for starting the process even few days in advance but in reality the check-in can be completed only on the day of arrival. I could have saved some time! The hotel is very close a busy road. Despite our room was on the fourth floor and generally acoustically insulated, you could hear some noise at late night (better to have ear plugs). No lift available (we knew and it was not a problem for us, but it would not be for everyone).

The location was great. The room very modern, comfortable and extremely clean. The keyless entry worked very well. Breakfast at the hotel restaurant was really good (just the cappuccino needs to be improved....way too much milk for a cappuccino!)

Not much to fault really. The broken fridge wasn't handy during a heatwave but not a killer. Overall there is very little to fault and many positive aspects.

The room was great as was the bathroom. The whole place was very clean and tidy although the fridge in the room was broken. The location was perfect with a nice restaurant downstairs and very central for everything else.

To find something negative, I really have to nitpick. We stayed at the hotel on a Saturday. If one is sensitive to noise, this might become an issue since the music from the restaurant downstairs was audible (even distinguishable by song) until way after midnight with all windows closed. Not much to do about that, then reducing the volume downstairs by about 20%.

The location was one of the reasons I booked this hotel and it did not disappoint. Close to amenities and public transport, you will find everything you could possibly need within walking distance. The room design is very tasteful, AC helps on the hot summer days. Our room was on the 4th floor without a lift, but since Nürnberg is quite hilly anyways, that wasn't an issue. I appreciated the contactless check-in/check-out solution and the fact that your smartphone becomes your room key. Not sure what happens when you run out of battery though. ;-)
