Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

PolandI went to hostel when there was a change of staff at the reception, It definitely took too long so I had to wait around 15 minutes for check-in. Hostel is located not so nice surrounding - night clubs, pubs and so on. But lucky for me, it was quiet in the room.
Nice room, well equipped kitchen. No problems with early check-out. Good quality/price ratio.

GermanyEven though the location is near to Haptbahnhof, it was so loudly because it was surrounded by clubs, pubs, homeless, and prostitutes.
Location is nice since it is near to Haptbahnhof. I have not had breakfast. I like the common room, and it turns to a pub at night.

DenmarkThe lights in the rooms are much to bright and there is no shielding from the lights from the other beds. If you get a top bed, you need blinders or something.
Staff was great the location is perfect 5min from the station. Lounge is nice and there is options to play pool downstairs.

FranceWhile the train station is near, the surroundings did not seem like the safest… A lot of probably drunk/high people in the area, making it quite stressful for two young women (got 5 men whistle me and my friend in a 3 min walk). But that’s the only negative point and it’s unfortunately not really the hostel’s fault
The hostel is near the train station and it’s a good point. The receptionist and staff were all really kind and helpful and the room itself was nice and clean. We could also let our luggages in a storage while waiting for check in which is really convenient.

UkraineI certainly didn't like the location. The train station quarter is definitely not a place for a solo female traveler. I was afraid to go out at night or even in the evening because of how stretchy it was. Also, the wifi quality could be improved - it works perfectly in the common areas, but didn't work in my room.
The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. They had a good playlist in the lounge area, too. I liked that it was possible to have a free dinner for a donation that would be used to help Ukrainians. The overall atmosphere was very positive.

United StatesCan not really say of any complaints with the hostel. The number of street people, trashcan pickers, ongoing drugs and drug sales in the streets was terrible, but sad. The police do NOTHING, but turn their heads away, when encountering the drug sales and use everywhere in this district.
The location if very convenient. Two blocks from the Main Train station, Subways, Trams and busses. Being in the Red Light District is no problem during the day. (I just didn't go out at night.) All the staff members were great. Alice was friendly and exceptionally helpful with advise and direction. The daily cleaning resulted in VERY clean bathrooms, showers, dorms and kitchen. One of the cleanest hostel I've stayed in to date and I travel lots.
