It feels like a prison, basically. The place is very run-down, and the location couldn’t be worse—you feel completely unsafe in the area where it’s located. The check-in girl was extremely unpleasant, almost yelling at me, and she also yelled at another guest who entered while I was checking in. Honestly, I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone. The most traumatic part was when someone who seemed very unkempt, probably homeless, arrived in my room and grabbed my leg while I was sleeping—it was honestly traumatizing. Personally, I would never return to Frankfurt, and definitely not to this hostel. I stayed here only because my experience in Leipzig at another hostel of this same chain was the complete opposite.

The area with a lot of cr@ck junkies and weird people. Smoking area is not 24/7 and you need to go out there, to these people. No curtains on beds, why? Also, you paying for sheets and need to rent a towel. Living rooms are kinda old and rough. Some rooms stink.

It has a cool lounge area downsides with free billiard. Shower without dam timers. Kitchen has everything you may need. Free food and beer on some days. Games, guitar, movies on disks. Inside it is safe.

I think air conditioner wasn’t heating the room and there wasn’t a hairdryer. Location is very near Frankfurt main station but it was very noisy during the night . There were many people were yelling. It doesn’t look like safe as alone girl. I learned that around the station might be dangerous

There were bedbugs in the room. A lot of them. We stayed there for four nights and were bitten all over. It took me a whole day to clean up our luggage to make sure I didn't bring them back home with me. Not to mention being itchy for the next week. We were in a studio with a kitchen annex, and perhaps the room wasn't ventilated properly it still smelled like scrambled eggs for the next two days. A friend who was travelling with us stayed in the dorms and said the lockers in the rooms were dirty, so he didn't dare to place his luggage there.

The staff was friendly and supportive. It's close to the main train station and has good connection by public transport to other parts of the city, though be aware it's red light district, so somewhat shady area. There's also a supermarket close by. If it wasn't for the bedbug infestation, I'd say the beds and quilts in the studio were quite comfy.

It’s in the red zone but the staff notify me before arrival, so it was my choice in the end.

Great location close to everything, the staff super helpful, the facilities are clean. The only downturn it’s that the premises are located in the red zone and there is more noise than regular, other then that it’s excellent.

There was no easy place to put my bag, or at least I could not find. If I had to stay for longer would be hard to organize my clothes inside my own bag. There was a locker but I was not able to open it.

The bed and bed set was pretty good. And the curtains were amazing! The shower area looked pretty clean and a lot of space to shower, much better than most hostels. The check out at 12h is the best part, I could really sleep and rest well, please keep it like that. The common area is amazing and I could leave my backpack there until 20h before getting my train - unexpected for such a nice price. Best cost benefit I have ever been.

Biggest problem is dampness/moldy smell. Because the bathrooms aren't open to the outside, the humidity stays in the hallway and that isn't aired out either, and if you don't open the windows in the rooms it makes the rooms smell too. It's suffocating, so we had to open the windows even in the winter to air things out. Other than that you have to pay the city tax (2 euros/day) and sheets (3 euros total) but those are built into the booking price - you just pay that portion in person. The deposit for the key (2 euros) is also annoying but fine. Beds are a bit rickety so if you get unlucky with your bunkmate you are doomed.

I think the location is pretty good. Red light district yes but there were just some people outside and strip clubs and things like that in the area. I felt fine and there were lots of lights at night. 4 min walk to train station was great. They have a giant lobby with lots of chairs and free coffee/tea/water. Last night we stayed they had free crepes which was nice. Each bunk has a power outlet and a light, as well as a little shelf.

The next day my wife discovered that she had been bitten all overnight by bed bugs. And we were charged 6 euros for the bed linen. This is unacceptable!

The location is central but keep in mind that is not the best looking district in Frankfurt. Stuff is polite and ready to help. Big apartment.
