Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

There are not really any good gluten-free options at the Orangerie, so we did not bother to check out breakfast. The breakfast was a little expensive. We did hear a family in the hallway late at night, so the rooms are not quite sound-proof, but in general the hotel was quiet.
The room was clean and well maintained. The staff was friendly and spoke both German and English. The spa was open until 10 but we unfortunately arrived too late to explore. However, all the facilities appeared clean and well-kept. The bed had end-tables with outlets and USB charge ports on both sides, the room was up-to-date, modern, and comfortable. The shower was large with plenty of hot water. Overall, a really great experience and we will definitely stay again with enough time to explore the sauna/spa.

flat pillow, theoretically I had two and I could probably ask for a change but... you have to complain about something
I felt just fine during my entire stay, everything was OK, very good breakfasts - many choises, the hotel was on the outskirts of town, very quiet. Invoice by email within an hour, all good.

The rooms were very warm, there was no air condition. We left the windows open, around the window were a lot of spiders, on the ceiling we also had several spiders, not nice!
The hotel had live music.

No air-conditioning in the rooms not ideal expecially on a hot day , Having to pay for the carpark , it should be free of charge for guests
Spa facilities were excellent, and the hotel complimentary services also great. We really enjoyed the piano entertainment whilst having a drink at the bar

The service in the restaurant was really slow. No AC in the room, the room did not cool during the night.

The indoor bar and outdoor bar and restaurant was closed on a Monday. It should be open every day, as we were on holiday and this was our time to enjoy these things. Also - everything was in German, and we heard a lot of English speaking people, so maybe you need to put more in English.
It was very clean and convenient, and had everything we needed.

On our way to Italy, this was a perfect place to make a stop, close to a7, and with nice comfy rooms and beds. Our kids loved the pool❤️

The window of my room looked over the SPA and the ventilators were running 24/7 very noisy!

On the first morning, the omelette station was staffed be THE most grumpy and mechanical cook I have seen in all these years. No rudeness per se, but the food was prepared utterly without joy. The upscale dinner menu was reduced to a more standard selection on the evening we went there, because most of the kitchen staff were pulled off to a wedding somewhere - I was looking forward to some finer dining. Will try again next time.
The Spa area is always a highlight and we made good use of it. The breakfast selection is excellent with the omelette station adding great value.

Would have appreciated a water kettle in the room as we had to leave at 4am.
