Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The street noise when the window was open, the parking location was not clear before arrival but on arrival the receptionist was very helpful in showing us where to go.
The location was near the centre, the room were nice and clean, helpful staff

Entering the hotel, you need to go up a few stairs which is hard with a baby stroller and suitcases but inside there’s an elevator.
Very friendly staff! We liked the rooms, they are clean, spacious and the quality of the wooden furniture and bathroom equipment is very good. The hotel is directly in the center and we were able to park a few meters away in an underground parking garage of some residential building. The breakfast is fantastic as well in a cosy basement area.

Great location near the Alte Mainbrucke. Friendly staff, pleasant, comfortable room with good shower and a view across the city. Excellent breakfast with plenty of choice. The buffet was constantly restocked so nothing ran out. The hotel looked after our luggage for the rest of the day after we checked out.

There’s no accessibility for a baby boogie to go from street level to reception. And no air conditioner. We caught some very high temperatures, so it was a bit too warm.
Location was absolutely perfect to visit the city’s top attractions and have some wine on the way. Our room was very comfortable and breaskfast was great!

The hotel has perfect location in the center of town with well organized easy private covered parking nearby. The personel is very friendly and helpful. Our room was nice, clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful.

There is very little I didn’t like. The carpets are a bit older and not immaculate looking, the refrigerator wouldn’t fit anything but the pay snacks (which weren’t even really a bad deal) and the shower leaked but really I only say them so that you know I’m not a fake because I couldn’t complain about these things at all. They’re so minor.
This location is amazing, just steps from the Festung and an easy pleasant walk to the Alte Mainbrücke and shopping. I found it while walking around and chose it because it is just where I wanted to be. The staff is exceptionally friendly, helpful and competent. The rooms really have everything you might need. The views are excellent. The hotel mixes historical charm with modern convenience. Breakfast was so thoughtful as well. They were so accommodating to my vegan diet. I really liked it.

The room temperature was very hot
The room was a little congested and warm, however there was a Dyson. The breakfast and Bathroom were excellent.

Beds were very hard and not very comfortable , no air con or fan so very stiffy and no netting on windows so wasps and hornets came on, no tea and coffee making facilities on the room and other than breakfast time no where to go down to get a coffee

Rather small room and bath room in the attic. Kind of warm with no AC. Wasn’t a warm day but could imagine this room to be be getting really hot in the summer.
Nice location close to some of the main attractions. Great breakfast buffet. Though no option to sit outdoors. Parking is well organized.

Staff was super friendly and welcoming! It’s near the center of the city (10 minutes walk) and the location is very nice. The hotel felt very cozy. The rooms were fine and the bathrooms were modern and very clean.
