Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

NetherlandsFloor is cement. Beds are single and two floors.
The rooms have no flooring. Just cement which gets dirty easily. The beds reminds you with the dorms two floor single beds with stairs. Billows are so thin and not comfortable. Parking for 18 Euros is a little expensive in my opinion as parking in the street is one Euro per hour in the city center. They have no rooms with double bed (Queen or King size). It could be nice as student dorm or for school trips but I don't like it for families. Others might have different opinion.

GermanyThe Room was not properly cleaned, the Toilet were especially poorly cleaned and the bathroom wasn't cleaned at all. The food was not not tasty, you had to serve yourself. Breakfast lacks variety.
The climate or AC system is not actually AC as the room was so hot we could not sleep without the windows open. Because we opened the windows came noise form the main road all night.

FinlandThey claim to have air conditioning. But there wasn't any, the room was very hot during the night. Room was equipped to the very minimum. It was possible to get clean/missing glasses and extra pillows but several requests were needed before anything happened.
Excellent location next to U3 subway station. On the other hand, there is nothing in the very neighbourhood of hotel. You need to take subway for everything. Breakfast is OK but it has to be for this price.

United KingdomNone of the vending machines work. But they take your money then reset. Does not matter what room you book, they will give you whatever is available regardless. Book the cheapest room. About 15 mins wait for checkin/ checkout. They need to hire more staff. The 24 restaurant is open about 12 hours Used to be better Poor show

NetherlandsIt was filthy, disorganised and understaffed. The feeling in the hotel was being in the middle of a long haul flight in economy. Our toilet was absolutely filthy and the room didn't have enough pillows. Incredibly uncomfortable and chaotic.

United StatesThere was no circulation and the room was so hot. The lights didn't turn off at night so we hd to take the key card out of the wall just to turn the lights off. Then we couldnt charge our phones. We were so frustrated with having to call the front desk we just dealt with it our last night. Also someone else was in line behind me complaining about the AC not working in there room either. They did change our room. It was a tiny bit better but not much
The A/C was non existent. It was a miserable two nights.

NorwayThe rooms are not cleaned and maintained properly. At arrival there was hair from the previous guest on the floors and in the bathroom (also on walls). The TV in the room did not work. We informed the reception desk of the problems and they were not fixed during out 4 night stay. In general the rooms seemed to be cleaned superficially with dust behind all doors and small places in the bathroom not cleaned thoroughly enough. Personally I find this sad, because it means that the rooms ware down much quicker than they have to. Apart from these things the hotel could have got a good review from us, but this just is not good enough, and should be an easy fix.
Good location close to the subway, a 15 minute ride from the Altstadt, easy connections to the Main railway station and to other attractions. Quiet area, and nice to have a restaurant open at the hotel most of the day.

SwedenIt is so "industrial" and being a guest you can clearly feel that you are being processed. Hotel was so so busy, so many guests (including myself). Called reception twice from my room, nobody answered, guess they were all busy. Breakfast, food was done to basics but it was so crowded.
