NetherlandsElevator. We had 2 rooms in 5th floor but the elevator reaches only 4th floor and we must climb 24 stairs steps.
Our trip was 7 days by car. Clean room and bathroom. Great location. Near train station and the center. nearby paid public car parking. Fast wifi. We are allowed to leave our luggage at the reception after checking-out from the room.

United KingdomOnly small matters that I did not like but did not spoil my stay - There was no phone that I saw in the room to call anyone in another room, there was no place to hang my towel in the bathroom when it was wet, there was no English speaking television stations, I have a mobility issue and the lift took forever to arrive to the 2nd floor. As said, nothing spoiled my stay.
The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable, as was all the communal areas, my thanks to the cleaners who do their work very well. The location of the hotel was perfect for the city centre, a 20 min stroll into town of 5 min the underground. When I arrived I was greeted warmly by the staff and were helpful in looking after my bag till check while I went for a walk into town.

GermanyFor us that was not a problem, but it could be a functional problem for people with limited locomotion or heavy luggage, because the elevator's doors from the up floors are located between the floors and until your floor you have 5 or 6 stairs. For this hotel category don't expect to find there the latest elevator or furniture models, but it's all clean and functional. the hotel is pets friendly, so it could be a problem for those with allergies in elevator or by reception - area. But the rooms are with parquet only (no carpets) and the beds linens are clean, so apparently it should not be a problem that's a pet-friendly hotel.
Comfortable, very clean, fair prices and good located. A rich and delicious breakfast for a fair price (even equipped even with a machine for fresh orange juice). Ideal for city breaks, or for those who want to save money and have a decent stay same time.

AustraliaRequired to supply after arrival and before check-in to obtain code, copy of all occupant's passports, and completion of taxation form for guests. However, booking.com does not allow any documents or images to be sent in either direction, even though they state they are. Then had to telephone the agent for accommodation to get email details and be able to send and receive pictures and copies of documents, eg: JPG & PDF, outside of Booking.Com control. Not very convenient as we did not have any internet or phone access at the time. Fortunately, a kind security guard in a nearby building was able to assist and overcome this for us. Also, we arrived on May 1st, Bank Holiday, so everywhere was closed.
