Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content

- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The door didn't filter much noise, so one could clearly hear when the next door neighbours left or entered their room. There was a thermostat for the heating, but even when it was completely turned down, the room got very warm overnight. One of the shower doors seems to be defective. It was very hard to close it and I could only open it halfway after that because there was so much friction it was basically stuck.
Easy and fast check-in/payment with a machine in the entrance hallway. Small, clean room with its own bathroom. The bed was comfortable, there was a small desk with a chair and a wardrobe.

Shower clogged. Very strong cleaning spray/air freshener smell in the room, was impossible to get rid of it even after 1 hour of having the windows open.

A bit depressing, bad smell in the building (sewer smell – not in the room though) and it did not feel totally safe as a woman travelling alone.
This is an extremely simple hotel. Tiny room with a narrow bed and not much more, no reception. It is totally fine if you just need a place to sleep, kind of like a student dormitory. It was clean enough and check-in in the machine was easy.

It would be great if the hotel can provide a bottle of water.
15 min walk to the cathedral, basic room but with all necessities. Very good value for solo traveller who does want to sleep in a shared dorm but also does not want to pay premier for hotel rooms.

Seems a bit helpless if you are not able to check-in through the automatic Hotel-O-Mat. I need to put my first name instead of last name to check-in. Luckily I can check-in by this trial and error. The lamb near the beds is not working properly

The reservation code for the automated check-in machine was not sent to me in advance, so I had to call the hotel hotline to get it.
The hotel has a great location; the automated check-in machine is fun! The 24-hour hotline is very helpful and solves all my questions. From other reviews, I saw complain about party and noise. I was expecting the sound proof quality to be bad, but luckily the neighborhood of the night I spent is very quiet.

The corridors are a bit smelly as no air goes in

The neighbours were rather loud, the bathroom was not perfectly clean, somebody was smoking in the hall despite the fact that it was said forbidden.
Well situated, automatic check-in / check out, fresh dry fragnant linen and towels. Good for one night stay.

The bathroom wasn’t properly cleaned, especially the shower. Leaving the luggage before the check-in or after the check-out was not possible. The corridor smelled unpleasantly.
Location is great, each day the bin is being emptied and towels are regularly changed

The area is not very safe in the evenig being next to Central Station The hotel offers very basic facility, only one key for a triple room. A bit expensive for what it offers. No possibility to make a coffee in the room or at least serve a coffee in the hotel. If you need information there's no one to talk to, there's just a phone number on a wall.
A clean basic hotel. The lady helping with the cleaning was very nice and helpful with advice.

Light in bathroom was too dull. Needs a brighter bulb. One bulb in bedroom was out. No plug in sink, which meant running the water more than is necessary. e.g. for wet shaving.
Space in twin room was generous though the bathroom/toilet was tight. Beds had good mattresses. Light and airy. Location near station was great. Walking distance to town centre. Free Wi-Fi was good and worked well.

The tv didn't work, it looked like a loose cable. One of the wall lamps fell onto me, it wasn't properly attached with screws.
Near the station but quiet. Fine for a one night stay. Very clean and good shower.
