Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The AC in the room wasn’t great, the bed was a little uncomfortable
The hotel was great value for money, had great public transport connections. A tram 2 minutes from the hotel door that took 10 minutes to get into the city centre.

In the morning I realized that the bedding may contain natural down to which I am allergic. Such information should be clearly marked.
We stayed for one night but the whole place made us want to stay longer. Very pleasant and comfortable rooms.

Comfortable room, minibar is included, that we really liked. Good location: easy access by car and also with public transportation. Great breakfast and great bar. Helpful and friendly staff. Fitness and garage also makes the stay more comfortable.

Busy breakfasts. Too many people and a constant line to the coffee machine. No alternative milk options on a coffee machine.
Amazing rooms. The hotel seems to be quite new and comfortable. All you need is in the room accept the iron, but per a request it can be immediately provided. Use your time to also go to the 14th floor for a sport session.

The shower gel bottle was almost empty when we checked in..
The hotel is really nice and the room matched the photos and what I booked, mini bar was included in the price which is nice and also the room was well equipped.

They have 2 EV chargers in the garage, but one was broken and the other one occupied so we couldn't charge overnight.

Overall. The staff were very nice and accommodating The area is also close to the tram going to the central station. Buffet was also great. Hotel was clean and has the necessities included. Our stay was really great.

The breakfast isn't as good as it used to be. There is less variety in local cold cuts an cheese, which is surprising in Munich.

Walking round to the far side of the bed involved squeezing between the bed and the TV. I'm quite slim, so a larger person will struggle more.
The hotel was nice. The location was out of the centre, which is what we wanted, but very accessible via public transport. The hotel was clean and although an iron wasn't present in the room, one was promptly sent when requested.

Small issues with the cleaning of the floors, but super minor. Will not affect your stay.
The hotel has excellent rooms, beds and pillows. The food at breakfast and at the restaurant also very good.

Can’t think of anything.
Great spacious hotel room, with the best shower ever. Stayed for 3 nights to see Coldplay. With Coldplay and Adele in town the cost of hotels seemed a little higher than usual. But did not disappoint. The free mini bar was also a nice touch. Staff super friendly. Our friends had an issue with a leak in their room which they sorted quickly. These things happen. The hotel is a little further out of town than we’d normally like to stay, but easily accessible with the no. 19 tram stopping practically outside hotel.

The staff were really great and super helpful. The free minibar was brilliant. Location was good too for what we wanted to do, really easy to get everywhere with a tram stop a 2 minute walk away. The bar area was great and the girls that were working there are excellent.
