The bed pillows are massive. Big bug bear with me knowing I'm in for an uncomfortable night's sleep. After 30 minutes in bed had to get up and went to reception to see if they had different one's. The porter preceded to give me another large pillow. Had to improvise with a spare duvet which did the trick.

The area in itself is not the most colorful, although the good public transport connections make up for it. The bathrooms are tiny and two people in one room can get cramped if you're staying for more than a week and/or have a lot of luggage.

Small rooms that offer great value and everything you need - perfect if you intend to explore Aachen and not stay in the hotel all day long. Super close to the Hauptbahnhof and multiple bus stations, and only a 15-minute walk to the town center. The road outside the hotel is only busy during the day so there was no trouble with any noise at night either.

Very small bathroom, anyone wearing size L or XL will probably have issues to move in there, even a thin but quite tall person might struggle to sit on the toilet. There were plugs only on one side of the bed (not very practical if you want to leave your phone charging but still want to check the time during the night). The sound insulation with the street was fine, but you could hear other rooms or people in the corridor (not the hotel's fault though if some guests are noisy, just bad luck). The mattress was too soft for our taste. A simple kettle would have been nice.

Good location, literally 5-minute walk to the train station and about 10 minutes to the centre; the area is ok too (close to the station but far enough to avoid some shady characters). Everything was very clean. Two big roads cross in front of the hotel but our room was facing the smaller road of the two and on the 4th floor, so barely any noise (we did keep the window closed). Good wi-fi and very large tv (considering the size of the room). Nice staff.

Bathroom with shower is a disaster, floods the entire floor when showering The noise from neighboring room, every night from about 4:30 till 6am was unbelievable and out of control. Those guys, three of them, were entirely out of control and didn't respond to complains and concerns by surrounding guests. Proprietor should have thrown them out and not allow parties/groups like this in the hotel and definitely not near family rooms Also, after 24 hours our keys stopped working and we had to drudge down again to get that fixed

Nothing wrong with it really, but it is a budget hotel and rooms are a bit cramped. I would not want to stay for any length of time. Normally it is very reasonably priced but we stayed on May bank holiday Saturday when we were lucky to get any hotel at all in the area less than £200 (c 225 euros), and paid £110 which we thought quite good in the circumstances.

Good for stopover. We got a good night's sleep before an early rise to catch a train.

It's a budget hotel - nothing fancy, but clean and a good bed. Staff were friendly. The double glassed windows keep out the noise from the busy street. I like the location - it's in easy reach of the train station as well as the town centre.

Unfortunately, in the night of 8april to 9 April a woman was real loudly screaming (moaning) in the room next to us. She was super loud from 02h to 07h30. So, in the morning you could see everyone in the breakfast area very exhausted with the face that they didn’t sleep. Out of that. Everything was amazing.

The WiFi was spotty and there wasn't much staff could do, but as a solo traveler I think WiFi is really critical. The opportunity to contact friends and plan activities while you're at your accommodation is key so it would be nice if room WiFi was consistently available.
