I don't like or feel safe with over-bath showers & had poor pressure. There wasn't proper air-conditioning, as advertised. It simply recirculted air & most of the time didn't even do that. Felt guest comfort was being compromised pandering to eco/green agenda e.g. aforementionded A/C & fridge turned off at start of stay.

Location & general layout if hotel, bar & facilities were great. Having an open bar, selling excellent Chilli bar food on Sun night after Scotland V Hungary game was great, as many other bars in town closed. Noted hotel was dog friendly, which gives food for thought re taking my Tibetan Terrier abroad. Fridge rather than mini-bar in room is +ve IMHO.

View of the neighbouring rooftop was appalling. Extremely dirty with a number of wet hessian bags and rubbish in full view. Was horrible to look at.

The price of the buffet breakfast was extortionate and I'd recommend trying to get that included in the booking. The bar areas are great but quite small and so suffered with so many people in the hotel.

We were there for the Euros so it was exceptionally busy. The staff dealt admirably with what was surely an unusual situation. Rooms was excellent, plenty seating in the foyer for 'hanging around'. Hotel a short walk (10-15 minutes) from Schlotzplatz. Reception staff were efficient, friendly and helpful.

We tried to order food but the staff had no idea about food allergies. Having vegan items on the menu which is a personal life choice but not catering for coeliacs at a hotel of this standard was very poor.

Breakfast restaurant too crowded and food here very average. Considering the amount we spend on a junior suite not great value for money. The overall impression is a Hotel that have seen its hay-day, and in the need of an update.

The bed was realy confortable it was the best ever I could say. the breaskfast was really expensive I did not do that :) . Also the personal can tell you have free enterance to the spa ... we did not know that we can use something free or not. however it was perfect I slept ever the best nights..

The air handling unit in the room was a bit noisy and perhaps needs a fix.

This hotel is larger than appears. The staff was responsive to messaging. Decent room size, windows, beds, cabinets, furniture, fridge, tv, kettle, lights. Very good breakfast with a range of vegan options, breads, juices, fresh fruit and salads, even vegan cheese! The location is a couple of bus stops from Hauptbahnhof and is also served by three U-bahn lines at Berliner Platz and Rosenberg-/Seidenstraße stops. S-bahn at Stadtmitte within walkable distance is useful. They gift you flower seeds if you indicated that the room could do without cleaning for the day. The hotel has more than one restaurant, and also has a swimming pool; although we did not visit or use it, saw happy families with kids ambling past in bath robes.

My room was in the other building ‘because the hotel is so big they have two buildings’. This was hard for me as I had to walk what felt like blocks between the two through an underground hallway. I arrived at the front desk using my cane for support and it would have been nice to have a room closer by.
