Real Bookers. Real stays. Real opinions.
Read more– opens a dialog boxEach review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly, without limiting expression or strong opinions. They're also applicable regardless of the comment's tone.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, or the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and other similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties, and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options might be available (by type of traveler, by score, etc...).

FranceAlthough the bus station is close, there aren’t many buses, and after 8 PM, it’s impossible to get back to the hotel without a car. You can’t use Uber, as it’s not commonly used in Germany, so you may need to ask the hotel staff or locals for help. What I didn’t like about the hotel was that the breakfast was a bit pricey at 15€ per day per person. Additionally, there is a place at the hotel where you can buy food, sandwiches, and snacks, but these are also very expensive (4.10€ for a bottle of water), and the prices are not the same as when you order at the reception. Even when we informed the staff that the prices were not the same, they didn’t change them. I suggest you to buy what you need at LIDL. When you order dinner at the hotel, despite many menus being written, they only had “pizza, nachos, and chicken.” The kitchen closed at 9PM (maybe a bit too early) The menues are also pricey. 11,90€ for a frozen Margherita pizza.
The hotel is beautiful, with decorations all in pink. It offers lockers, a fitness park, and a room where you can watch TV. When we were staying at the hotel, it was during the EURO so football matches were playing. The hotel is very close to the park and is cheaper than the hotels at Europa Park. Europa Park is a 20-minute walk from the park or and 5 minutes drive. The bus station is 2min walk from the hotel. Also, next to the hotel there is Lidl open from 7am to 9pm.

United KingdomThe staff were all absolutely lovely and really helpful, and the hotel is all very nicely decorated and clean. It's brilliantly close to Europa Park (only a 20 minute walk) and me and my friend had a lovely stay

NetherlandsHad some technical problems at check-in (and perhaps a bit understaffed?) There wasn't much choice in the restaurant: they had a great selection mentioned on the board over the bar, however in the end there were only a few choices of pizza, chicken wings or flamkuchen. These were fine in the end, by the way.
The hotel has a cool vibe, good rooms with nice fixtures. Good location on our way to/from Italy.

IrelandI had to wait a few minutes to check in. No one was at the reception area so I didn't know if I was meant to ask the bar person or not. Our room didn't have the single bed made up, the receptionist offered to swap our room but settled with making it up myself, just took a second but was fine. These things happen
The location was great, close to both the water park and Europa park. Lidl was just around the corner, so handy for snacks. The rooms were well thought out to make good use of space. The rooms were lovely and clean and the air con was at the perfect temp all day and night.

GermanyMy only complaint was the firmness of the bed, we requested extra pillows and that helped a lot.
Location is prime for visiting Europa and Rulantica. Parking is secure and easy. There are several food options around the hotel within walking distance, and a good breakfast was provided at 15€ per person.

RomaniaI wish there had been a wardrobe in the room to store my clothes and some slippers, but this doesn’t cancel my review.
We have just finished an exceptional experience from start to finish. Located conveniently close to Europa-Park, this hotel combines modern style with a vibrant, youthful atmosphere, making it an ideal choice for both leisure and business travelers. Rooms and Comfort: The rooms at Moxy Rust are impecably clean, well-designed, and equipped with all the essentials. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a good night’s sleep after a day of exploring. I particularly appreciated the smart use of space and the chic, minimalist decor that made the room feel both cozy and modern. Amenities: Moxy Rust offers a range of amenities that cater to every need. The 24/7 bar and lounge area is a fantastic place to relax with a drink, offering a lively atmosphere and great music. The breakfast buffet was impressive, featuring a variety of fresh and delicious options to start the day right. Additionally, the fitness center is well-maintained and has a good selection of equipment for a workout on the go. Service: The staff at Moxy Rust truly go above and beyond to ensure guests have a memorable stay. From the warm welcome at check-in to the helpful tips about local attractions, their hospitality was top-notch. They were always available to assist with any requests and did so with a smile, making me feel valued and well taken care of. Location: The hotel’s proximity to Europa-Park is a major advantage, especially for families and theme park enthusiasts. It’s just a short walk away, allowing for easy access without the hassle of long commutes. Additionally, the surrounding area is charming, with plenty of dining options and local attractions to explore.

United StatesThe room was too small. On the first night, the AC didn't work but somehow it did on the second night. There's no phone in the room to call reception if you need something. There's no closet in the room, and there is no safe in the room either.
Breakfast was OK. Basically eggs, cheese, fruits, yogurt, bread, coffee machine, water and juice machine. The location is excellent. It's 20 minutes walking to Europa Park, has two supermarkets nearby, and some restaurants very close. It's also 15min walk to the town centre.

TurkeyBreakfast was expensive . And I don’t like that only have 45 mins predefined time slot! It is like military ! General price is also expensive compared to hotel . Car parking should be free in that kind of location . Don’t expect safe , wardrobe etc in the room. It is little bit fancier version of ibis to be honest.
New building , good location for theme park. Breakfast is not great but not bad either. Staff are nice in general . Nice game area but not well maintained.

United StatesEverything extra is very expensive, from drinks to breakfast (€30 a person). Parking fee is €5.
The hotel is young and modern with a cool vibe at a very short distance from Europa Park and its hotels, especially Bell Rock. The staff was extremely nice and went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant! Thank you so much to the front desk staff on the evening of June 4th. You are all wonderful.

United KingdomOnly criticism really is that parking isn’t free and no tea/coffee/ kettle in the room, and being picky the pasta for dinner wasn’t cooked.
Perfect location for a trip to the parks, literally a 1 minute drive to Europa park and 5 minutes to Rulantica. DO NOT PAY FOR PARKING AT THE PARKS as the hotel will give you tickets for free park parking which is normally €10 a day! The hotel underground parking is €5 a day. The young blonde lady with glasses on the desk was very kind 🙂 breakfast is a bit steep at €15 but good selection of toast and jams, pancake bites, cold meats and bread, cereal, yoghurts and fruit and cakes. Room was very nice and burgers and pizza were decent.
