Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. We use a weighted review system, which means the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. Guests can also give separate “subscores” in crucial areas like location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value, and free Wifi. Note that guests submit their subscores and overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content

To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The room temperature. I know it's a German thing, but 24 degrees is too hot. And yes, there is an airco/heating system, but it took me 2 nights before I had the right temperature.
Hospitality, friendliness and service of the staff is GREAT. From check in to "do you have a spoon for me" at breakfast. From "can we get a very early coffee" to "can you send me the hotel bill again", it was taken care of in a minute. Loved the rooms - and this little, very subtle light that switches on if you get up at night. Comfortable beds, funny message on the mirror - it is a very comfortable accommodation. Breakfast is worth your money! And not to mention - incredibly close to Euopapark.

I have noticed that the staff on the reception were standing all the time. It would be super helpful to have some chairs for them.
The location is perfect which was about 5 minutes from the Europa Park and there was plenty of parkings in the basement or even around the hotel.

the food at the restaurant and not enough staff so we had to wait a very long time and the food was cold..

Only thing was getting to Europa Park was kind of a hassle without any real information shared by the hotel on how to get there the quickest. I mean ok, its not really the hotels job to tell you this; but it wouldve been better if they did inquire about their customers going to Europa Park and share the quickest way to get there. We ended up walking around 20minutes to the theme park and were kind of exhausted at the entrance and were craving for drinks already. Other than this, we had a fantastic stay at the hotel!
The lobby is very welcoming with the reception located right at the bar. The ladies at the reception were very helpful and kind. The room was very good and its location is quite nice too, since its close to a restaurant and supermarkets. The room is very clean. I dont usually leave reviews but this experience had to be shared. Will definitely recommend and come back to this hotel any time again. Parking was very clean and safe as well. There is an option to park outside or underground.

We had an enjoyable and lovely stay at Moxi Hotel. I booked a room for me and my sister as we wanted to go to Europa Park. The hotel is located within walking distance of thyme park. It is a pretty new one so the facilities are modern, everything is super clean and fresh. The staff is extremely polite and nice :) We were even served by the owner who turned out to be Bulgarian :) such a lovely girl! We also had breakfast in the hotel and it was exceptional. You can get everything you can think of.
