Great location overlooking the Main, and close to the Old Town, although the rail station is realistically too far to walk with suitcases. Breakfast was great, and the staff were so friendly and helpful, especially LAURA and BILAR. As a pianist, it was disappointing to find the beautiful grand piano in need of much TLC, and essentially unplayable. Also be aware that the river view rooms can be quite noisy due to the traffic, especially room 412 which has 2 full sized patio doors.

No in room kettle, tea, coffee. To be fair, when i went back to look at the facilities stated with the booking these were not listed, but I have come to assume them as they are present in pretty much every accommodation I have ever stayed at.

The shower made the entire bathroom wet, the room was hot overnight even with the heater off because the thermostat in the room was deactivated and the AC was not working. Had to open the windows, but it was loud because of traffic. Indian guy in the reception was a bit rude and slow. We had breakfast for 3 days without being told we were going to be charged (I thought it was included in my reservation and was never warned about it), then the bill came on the last day for $19/person/day. It was a good breakfast, but had we known, we could have tried a local bakery or brunch place a day… we had late breakfasts too as we were on vacation, and their crew kept staring at us while sitting at the table chatting and enjoying our coffee because they wanted to cleanup and take their break, which apparently included them having breakfast at the buffet too. Otherwise, good experience.

The road is noisy with a lot of traffic which makes sleeping with the windows open impossible.

I was pleasantly surprised by the relaxed vibe in this hotel. Everything was spotlessly clean and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was excellent and the location with river view is very lovely.

A bit unusual but I always ask for a fan for my room, they were not able to provide this item during my stay. A German tub would have been a nice room addition; however, the shower was nice and had excellent pressure. A small microwave would have been useful as well as a coffee maker.

Loved the breakfast buffet. The best I have had at this $$ level. The room was spotlessly clean. This location was terrific for access to the Frankfurt public transportation system and local sites

It was very noisy in the room so I had to sleep with earplugs. There is a busy road outside, and you will hear loud noises from it all night. There is also a door connecting the room to the adjacent room, and we could hear everything from there when there were other guests there.

The staff was nice and helpful, breakfast was nice and the river view was beautiful.

Wifi, complicated and not very fast

Excellent location with perfect view to the river and garage for the car! Friendly staff. Everything was great. I had problem with wifi, complicated to log in, could be easier. Managed to work with ipad, but not with laptop. Good italian restaurant next door.
